Hi there!
Welcome to the Altenew Build-A-Flower: HELLEBORE Release Blog Hop + Giveaway. You are arriving from Norine's blog (you can always check the list of participants at the bottom of this page).
I am so excited to take part on this blog hop as it is my first one as a Design Team member, and couldn't be happier to start with this beautiful flower release.
The new Build-A-Flower: Hellebore is not just a beautiful stamp set, but also very easy to layer with fantastic results. I used the Lapis Lazuli, Golden Sunset, Rose Petal, Shades of Purple, and Green Fields Mini Ink Cube set to stamp all the flowers and leaves, and then used the coordinate die set to cut them apart.
For my first project, i chose to create a clean and simple card design by stamping one of the large Dot Art stamp set leaves on the background of an A2 card using the Black Obsidian Pigment Ink from Altenew. I layered some of the Hellebore flowers at the bottom of the leaf, then added the sentiment from the BAF: HELLEBORE stamp set. Just love how the flowers pop from the card...
I used the rest of the flowers to create a layout all about my sister and nephew's loving relationship:
I started with color cardstock for the background, and then used a cut file from Handipaper to frame the pictures. These were backed with a paper from the Altenew Reflections Scrapbook collection.
All the Hellebore stamped flowers were clustered around the pictures so that they frame the pictures, and also add color and movement to the layout. The following video will show you how this came together:
This page took no time to put together, even after stamping all the floral designs. The three shapes of the BAF: HELLEBORE stamp set images are ideal to create clusters which helped in this design.
Now it is time for the fun part of this blog hop, GIVEAWAY!
To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $30 gift
certificate to 6 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog for a
chance to win.
Altenew will also draw a winner to receive a $15 gift certificate from the comments left on each designer’s blog on the blog hop list below. All winners will be announced on the Altenew blogs on 9/7/2019.
