December Documented - CITRUS TWIST KITS
Happy NEW YEAR everyone!
May 2020 be a love filled year! I am so excited about the new year cause it brings lots of new adventures, dreams and failures. What better way to celebrate it all than by documenting it all.
Though the year is started, i am just finishing a few projects with the new January kits from Citrus Twist Kits. To kick off of the year, they are also releasing a few sets of stamps that are perfect to create titles, add to your layouts and planners. So, i took them all and set to create a few pages for my Family Album.
I started this page by supersizing one of the cut apart tags and then using a combination of this month's stamps to create the title of this page. I later thread a piece of string through both tags and set them on vellum on my album.
The new Alpha stamp set is the perfect size for the Life Crafted album. I chose to use the bold image to stamped the title and then used the Add-on stamp set to add the small subtitle to the page.
To complete the page, i supersize the picture to fit a page of my Life Crafted album, and then cut a small slit at the top right corner of the picture. Here i created a small card that slides out to show the journal of the page.
I added a few more embellishments to complete my visual triangle, but loved how simple and easy this came together using the stamps sets and Life Crafted kit.
For my next page, i decided to use the stamps to document my 44th birthday. I started by using the Digital TN papers for January to create the background for my title and lines of journal.
I then used all the stamp sets to create the large title/journal of this layout. The large numbers are the perfect height to add your lines of journal next to it in a block fashion.
I had so much fun using the stamp sets to document my day in numbers. Since the print is large and uses lots of space, i decided to keep the other side of the layout very simple.
I used a 4"x2" card PL insert to create the background of the page ( It was easy to supersize the image). An exacto knife was used to cut the tips of the starts closer to the picture, I used the corners to hold the picture in place. All was left to do was embellish it with stickers from the Life Crafted kit and then stamped the date in place.
I love how this turned out, and cannot wait to use the rest of the stamps to complete a few more pages in my journals. Remember to check the CTK store for all the new stamps and kits- you are going to love and use these-.
thanks for visiting!

DECEMBER DOCUMENTED - Citrus Twist Kits
Hi there!
not sure about your days, but ours are filled with school, work, and other activities that keeps us on our toes all the times. That is why sharing daily entries on my December album can be complicated, but creating the entries has been rather easy this year that i have had the chance to mix and match kits, especially those from Citrus Twist Kits.
This time i am documenting our Santa Claus parade tradition, i took lots of pictures of the day, but narrowed them to three. I started with a large picture of my kids at the parade and decided to create an interactive page to go with it.
I wanted the red sign the one that pops from the page, so i added a small cluster of embellishments from the Yuletide collection die cuts ( available at CTK shop) and then brought stickers from both December kits to combine them with the interactive page.
I printed one of the exclusive bonus subscriber cards to fit 4.25"x7.5" ( i used photoshop to manipulate the card) and then glued it to a large tag to create the flip page. I used the Christmas stories stamp to add the small tab on the center of the card that helps open the page.
I cut a piece of patterned paper (snowflake collection - CTK December Add-on kit) to fit the back of the card, and glued the pictures to it. Then used embellishments from the Yuletide collection and cut apart elements from the Life Crafted kit to complete the cluster on the page. To repeat the circle embellishments, i cut the "Joy" embellishment from the CTK Christmas Daily labels sheet to and added to the write up page, then ended the page by stamping the sentiment .
This was super fun and quick to put together using a mix of kits and goodies from the CTK shop and kits. Remember to check them all out.
I will come back to show you more of my little December album soon!

HYBRID SCRAPBOOKING - Citrus Twist Kits
Hi there!
Nathalie with you today with a few layouts of my Life Crafted album using the beautiful AT MY TABLE kit. I love paper, but i think i equally love digital files, having the chance to build and customize my pages always comes in handy when you do daily documenting. Every month CTK subscribers get a lot of perks that can easily stretch your kit and help you create one-of-a-kind pages. Let me show you...
For my first page, i chose to work with the cut files (available for free to subscribers) to help me create my spread. First of, i wanted to add lots of journaling - all about my son and his tree- so, i used the Digital TN paper as the base for my 3x8 insert.
I created the 3x8 insert in Photoshop, then added the Digital TN paper, followed by my lines of journal. For my title, i used one the sentiment from the Picture Perfect cut file by simply using the PNG format of the cut file and sizing the title to fit on my page. After printing it, i backed the insert with a paper from the Life Crafted kit and slipped in the pocket. A small chipboard sticker was then added atop the pocket at the bottom of the page.
For the picture side of the spread, i enlarged the picture to fit to the page, then cut one of the Life Crafted screens from white cardstock. I backed the screen with the picture and used a black fine liner to emphasize the writing on the cut. A small cluster of ephemera complete this page. This was easy and really time effective when putting together.
Let me show you another idea:
As soon as i saw this floral pattern in the kit, i had this idea for one of my spreads. So i used the Digital PL cards to create the two sides of the page. For the right side, i enlarged the 4x6 digital PL card to fit to the page, while the left side of the spread was built using the 3x4 digital PL card. I enlarged two of the 3x4 cards, and rotated one so that i could complete the left side border with the patterned -if you see up close, you could see where i joined the cards-.
To build my page, i decided to cut a panel of vellum to fit inside the page, and cut one of the 4x6 cards from the Life Crafted kit. The picture was then glued to the card and a small cluster of ephemera and puffy stickers complete this page.
For my lines of journal, i simply typed them when i was building my pages, so i can print them all at once, but chose to add my title by mixing the puffy stickers from the At My Table kit with some stamping using the Typewriter font stamp set from CTK. Once again, completely in love with how this turned out.
AS always, please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions!

PICTURE PERFECT Cut file focus - CITRUS TWIST KITS
Hi there!
Nathalie with you today with a focus highlight on one of the Subscriber-only cut files. Each month, our subscribers receive a collection of perks -cut files, cut apart elements, extra PL cards-, and today i want to share a few ideas on how to use the PICTURE PERFECT cut file, and this month's AT MY TABLE Life Crafted kit and the Mini Halloween Kit.
Let's get started with a Life Crafted layout:
This month's AT MY TABLE kit is gorgeous, versatile and completely perfect for this story of my daughter's last first day of school picture (she is graduating HS this year).
I pulled the Life Crafted Screen of the Picture Perfect cut file to create the title page for this layout. I simply cut the screen to fit the page, and backed it with one of the Digital TN papers (the contrast of yellow and blue/teal is a fave of mine) then created a cluster on the middle of the page using elements from the kit. I really love the floral paper, and had fun fussy cutting the images, and then there is the mini alpha stickers...
For the other side of my layout, i chose to create a cluster of papers and ephemera at the top corner of the layout. I tried to repeat the same elements as in the title page, so that the two sides are cohesive and then just added my lines of journal and a few more stamped sentiments from the TN stamp set. Just love how this turned out.
Let's now check a second option using the PICTURE PERFECT cut file and the mini Halloween kit:
The mini Halloween kit features the new Crate Paper - Hey Pumpkin collection, and i couldn't resist creating a page from one of our old Halloween memories.
This time, i am using the second format of the cut file and cut it from white cardstock. I used some of the papers from the kit to back a few of the empty spaces of the cut file - mixing solid cardstock, with patterned paper and some icons- and attached it to the background using some foam adhesive.
A bit of black paint (Pinkfresh Studio watercolor available in the CTK shop) on the background makes all the details of the cut stand out, as well as all the clusters of embellishments around the page. To finish this page, i added a few stamped sentiments inside the empty film strip spots using the TN stamp set and gold ink.
The following video will show you how this all came together:
I hope this gives you a few ideas on how to work the many subscriber perks on your documenting. Remember to check all the kits, tools and digital files in the CTK shop, and consider subscribing ( if you are not a subscriber already)so you can have access to all the CTK exclusives.
As always, please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions on how this came together. I cannot wait to see what you create with this month's kits!!

EVERYDAY DOCUMENTING - CItrus Twist Kits
Hi there!
It has been so busy lately in our household, between work, the kids and every day life, but having the Life Crafted Album and the September kits at hand have made it easier to be able to record my memories on a daily basis.
It is no secret that i love large titles, so i reached for the Spencer Stamp set and used it to create my title in different papers of the Explore kit, and fussy cut them to create my title. I chose the navy paper from the Add-on kit as it will show tall the papers nicely.
I chose to mat a piece of the wood grain paper from the Explore kit on a colorful paper from the Add-on kit. Then used a few stickers to embellish the page, as I wanted the picture and story to stand out.
For my next page, i used a combination of papers from the Explore and Add-on kit. Since I was stamping onto papers, i chose to do the same for this page, and stamped my title on one of the Explore kit papers and fussy cut it.
I worked with layers for this layout, and added one of the ephemera pieces under the beautiful typewritten teal paper. Then added the title on a block and added a layer of embellishments to complete my title page.
I continue to work on layers on the other side of the page, and chose to use branding stripe as a layer behind the paper, and then layered ephemera in a cluster behind the picture. All those clear stickers on the Add on kit can easily pop on page once you add them to white cardstock and fussy cut them.
I love how easy this came together, and honestly it took no time to put them together with the September 2019 Citrus Twist Kits. Make sure you check them out!

HYBRID LIFE CRAFTED LAYOUTS - Citrus Twist Kits
Hi there!
It is always fun to open a new Life Crafted kit from Citrus Twist Kits each month and get inspired by its contents, but my favorite part of receiving the kits is opening all the digital files. I love having the power to customize my pages using digital files, it gives them a one-of-a-kind feel that we all strive for. The following pages focus on the This is Life: LET'S WANDER digital stamp set to create my title pages.
For this page, i started by enlarging the picture of my son and nephew walking around town, and added a few cut apart digital elements to create the cluster on the picture.
To create the title of the page, i enlarged one of the circle images from the Digital stamp (to fit almost the entire width of the page. I used the physical form of the same stamp set to add the small sentiment at the bottom of the circle, and then carefully cut around the inner circle outline.
I backed the empty space with a picture of my kids walking around our local farmer's market and added more stamping. Since i had part sentiment from the top impression, i chose to repeat the same sentiment on the picture. For my lines of journal, i chose to enlarge one of the Digital PL cards, added my story and then finish it with some stamping using the EXPLORE kit stamp set.
I love how this turned out, especially as it took no time to put together since most of it was done with the computer. Let me now show you another idea on how to use Digital Stamps to create titles for your Life Crafted album.
This time, i chose to create a badge (like the ones you get to add to your backpacks) using the digital stamp and some hand stitching.
I simply printed the image, poked holes along the lines of the image, and then backstitched all the lines. The circle was then trimmed and then placed on the center of the page (created with the digital TN papers from the EXPLORE kit).
All that was left to do was add the picture and create the embellishment and journal card - these were all created with Digital Files from the September kit). Just love how these turned out!!
Remember to stop by Citrus Twist Kits to check the September EXPLORE Life Crafted kit and all the digital files that coordinate with the kit. Hybrid scrapbooking is probably a new concept for you, but you will love how it can transform your pages. If you have questions about these, please leave me a comment.

CITRUS TWIST KITS NSD 2019 BLOG HOP
hi there!
Welcome to the Citrus Twist Kits (i)National Scrapbooking Day Blog hop. You must be arriving from Diane's blog. It is a busy day, call it our holiday! so CTK wants to share some inspiration and also give you the chance to win some prizes along the way.
My challenge today was to use a pocket in my Life Crafted layout, so i pulled pieces from this month's Add on kit to create this page:
Part of today's celebrations include some cut pocket cut files, click here to be taken to the CTK Digital shop. I used two of those cut files to create the pocket for this page using vellum, and another one to cut the title for this page.
For my page, i decided to cover one side of the layout with the Collage paper from the All Heart collection - included in the add on kit-, and then placed my picture there surrounding it with fussy cut flowers from one of the paper in the kit.
I used another piece of the same paper to create the strip on this page, and then glued my pocket on it. To complete my visual triangle, i added some fussy cut florals around the pocket, and then placed the title at the bottom of the pocket. Some repeating stamping around the page ( using some of this month's stamps).
I hope you have enjoyed the inspiration, and also picked up a free copy of the cut file.
