ALTENEW JUNE 2019 STAMP/DIE/STENCIL RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY

Hi there!
Welcome to the Altenew June 2019 Stamp/Die/Stencil Release Blog Hop + Giveaway.   You must be arriving from Laurie's blog ( a list of all the participants is added at the bottom of this post).  Today Altenew is releasing a new set of goodies that are so beautiful, you will want them all.    I am always excited when my little Altenew box arrives that  i just dive into the box and create, and trust me, this time i created lots of projects, so let's get started.

For this first project, i  used the new Forever in Love Stamp and Die set to create this new entry on my Family album (Citrus Twist Kits Life Crafted Album).   The beautiful illustrations are the perfect accent for the  colorful picture and background.

It started with a paper from the Live Your Dream collection as the background, next added the picture of my kids and littles to the one side of the page.  I used the Forever in Love stamp set to create a few of the images on white cardstock, and then used them to frame the picture.   Another of the images  creates the focal point on the other side of the page.  Here i added my title (Live Your Dream collection embellishments) and the lines of journal.    A few Altenew Enamel dots complete this page.  The following video will show you how it all turned out:

Simple and beautiful, all because of the Forever in Love Stamp and Die set, and now let me show you  a few simple ideas using one of the new stand alone dies.

The new Pressed Leaf Die is amazing!!!  I used it to create two cards.  For the first card, i covered the front panel of the card with the Misty Meadows Washi tape.   A second smaller panel was covered with a piece of the washi tape, but only big enough to fit the die.

The Pressed Leaf Die was then used to cut the shape, and then i slowly peeled the extra tape leftover.  A small exacto knife helped to trim the extra tape from the center line. To finish the page, i embossed a sentiment using the  Weekend Doodles  stamp set.   Here is another idea using the Pressed Leaf die

For this card, I started by cutting the image out of Metallic pink kraft stock.  Then used the Pressed Leaf Die and a shimmy to create a second impression on white cardstock.   This created the soft outlines in the leaf.

I used some glue to attach the center line of the die cut pieces together, and then propped them on my card with thin foam adhesive, a simple sentiment ( fussy cut Altenew Mail Labels) completes this card.   LOVE how these turned out, and how easy they came together.

Now let's go back to scrapbooking to show you how i used the Mid Century Frame Die in my Family Album.

The new dies are just so versatile, this time i cut a few of the images from Mocha cardstock using the Mid-Century Frame Die.  I used a full frame to add my layout title in one of the pockets.

Then cut the second frame to add repetition of the shape in the layout.  First i used a piece of the circle to frame the embellishment cluster at the bottom of the picture on the second pocket.  While the other piece was used to add  a subtitle to the layout.  I created a simple layout by adding a  bit of gold trim Washi tape to the edges of  the page, then layered some of the Summer Garden paper behind the picture.   I placed the piece of die cut at the bottom of the page, and added a stamped sentiment from the Forever in Love Stamp inside the frame.  The following video will show you how this came together:

Pocket pages are so easy to put together, and the new Mid-Century Frame Die was perfect for the pictures of my 19th anniversary festivities. But i saved the negative pieces of the die cuts to create  cards:

I used a bit of foam adhesive to prop the negative piece from the Mid-Century Frame Die to a premade card, then added a sentiment -using Jet Black ink - from the Sunflower Daisy stamp set, followed by fussy cut flowers from the Teal Shadow washi tape.     But since i had a second negative, here is  a second card:

For this card, i started by stamping a sentiment from the Geometric Landscape stamp set to a premade card, then propped the negative Mid-Century Frame Die cut with some foam adhesive.   Then used the Altenew Alcohol Markers -set E- to color one of the Weekend Doodle stamped images  which was then added to the card.  I just love how easily these came together, and how i was able to use all the pieces leftover from the die cuts.

Let me know show you what i created with the new Welcome Home Stamp and Die set.

For the first card, i used the Welcome Home Stamp & Die set and Altenew Inks to create the circle image of the card.   Using the die set i cut the circle out, and then used the "Welcome" die to cut a few shapes out of navy cardstock.

The die cuts were glued together, then the sentiment was cut from Gold metallic paper, and glued at the top of the stacked die cuts.   The sentiment die cut was glued to the  Welcome Home Stamped Circle image, which was in turn glued to a prepped card (created using the A Walk in The Woods Stamp set and Altenew Azurite ink).     Love the bold color contrast and dimension on the card.    Now let me show you another idea using the Welcome Home Stamp set.

For this card, I used the Welcome Home stamp set only to create the background of this page.   I created a couple masks to help with stamping the entire panel, then scored the card so that there is a soft frame on the panel.

I glued the panel to a card, and then created the sentiment by die cutting the Fancy Hello Die a few times and then gluing together to create the dimension you see.   A few drops of clear dots complete the card.   Love this card so much, and i am sure you will do, too!

We are gearing towards the end of this post, and for the last projects,  i chose the beautiful Sunflower Daisy Stamp, Die and Stencil set.

I stamped quite a few Sunflower Daisy flowers on white cardstock using the Altenew mini cubes.   These were die cut and set aside.

The background was hand stitched so that i helps to bring texture and dimension to the page,   Once the picture was set on the page, i started layering the flowers so that they frame the picture and just one side of the heart.   A few embellishments from the Live Your Dream collection and enamel Dots complete this page.  However i stamped so many flowers, that decided to create a card with the left overs.

I started by using the Sunflower Daisy Mask Stencil to create the background of the card using Vicki Boutin Art Crayons and Stencil Brush.   The new Frilly Frame Die was used to create a frame from citron Metallic paper.

The frame was glued to the card background, a sentiment was added inside the frame, and then some of the leftover flowers were added in a cluster at the bottom of the frame.   The following video will show you how these came together:
