Hi there!
Welcome to ALTENEW WHIMSICAL WONDER STAMP/DIES/STENCILS/EMBOSSING FOLDERS COLLECTION RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY. You are arriving from Verity Biddlecombe's blog. You can find a list of all the participants at the bottom of this post for your convenience.
There are so many gorgeous products in this month's release that it was hard to pick just a few to work with. From stamps to washi tapes... the products this month are outstanding. So, let's get started...
One of my most loved possessions are my notebooks. So, I decided to show you how I create the covers for my notebooks. For my Gratitude journal, I am using the new BOUQUET OF LOVE Stamp and Die Set to create the focal point. I embossed it on white vellum twice, then glued the pieces together just at the center so that the ends of the leaves can fan out a bit.
I used the BOUQUET OF LOVE die to cut the cardstock corner. This way, I can get a well fitted corner detail for my flower die cut. Before adding the cardstock to the cover page, I wrapped a few of the new FALL HARVEST SLIM WASHI TAPE set to the bottom of the cardstock. Then used alphas from my stash to create the title in Spanish in my cover. Love how it turned out.
Here is another of my journal covers. This time I am using the new SCALLOPED ORNAMENTS STAMP/DIE/STENCIL bundle. I just love how the coloring stencil brings the shape to live without having to line up stamps. All I needed were ink, blending brushes and a white gel pen.
All I needed was a title, for this I combined sentiments from the BOUQUET OF LOVE STAMP SET and Ombre Alpha Stamp set. I just love the color combo, and how it all came together nicely in the page!
The new TIE DYE STAMP SET might be a new favorite in my background stamp collection. The versatility of the stamp is huge. I used it in my journal to create the background and title card. The layering stamp set is just amazing!!
So happy to find the perfect sentiments for the journal page in the MARBLED BLOOM STAMP SET. Just a few extra embellishments complete this spread. Perfect way to document my little cousin's 4th birthday.
I have been loving all the new stencil/die set that Altenew has been releasing lately. I used the new MEADOW BUSH LAYERING STENCIL & DIE bundle to create a new entry for my Gratitude Journal. The new die takes away so much of the fussy cutting work.
To make sure everything in this page pops. I added a piece of the new POURED ACRYLIC 6x6 PAPER PACK behind the picture, then added sentiments from the BOUQUET OF LOVE stamp set. A few enamel dots complete the spread.
One of the new products being released are SUNSHINE GALLERY and WATER GARDEN MARKER TOPPER AND DECAL. If you love organization and a not having to guess about the marker tips of the markers, then this is for you.
I love the organization the new toppers add to my artist marker collections!
