hello there!
Welcome to ALTENEW BUILD- A-FLOWER: CONEFLOWER RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY. You are arriving from visiting Laura Jane's blog ( aren't her projects amazing!). A list of all the participants is available at the bottom of this post for your convenience.
Today, Altenew is releasing their new BAF: CONEFLOWER, and it is such a beautiful stamp. Super easy to layer, with gorgeous details. So, I wanted to use the movement of the flowers for a new entry on my daily journal:
Have I mentioned, I love this new BUILD-A-FLOWER: CONEFLOWER. What better way to showcase the design that to add color to a page with a rainbow of flowers.
I started by adding a bit of a shadow to the background using the PATCHWORK KITE STENCIL and Jet Black ink. While the ink set, I used a variety (Rose Petal, Shades of Purple, Tea Party, Red Sunset, Green Meadows, Obsidian Ink sets) to stamp my flowers. Then used the die to cut them all.
I backed my picture with patterned paper, and set it on the right of the layout. I, then, used the flowers to create two large clusters at the edges of the layout. All was left to do was add a tile ( a combination of the sentiments in the BUILD-A-FLOWER: CONEFLOWER stamp set and a a gold puffy sticker.
Just love how the page turned out... The new BAF:CONEFLOWER is perfect and a must have. Remember you can always have them delivered to your door every month, if you choose to subscribe to the Altenew BAF Subscription program
