Scrapbook Layout - I Love You Just The Way You Are (song lyrics)-
A close up of the layout |
Hello there!
I have been playing along with Scrapbook Nerd on-line creative Summer Camp,. I am always inspired when I see a challenge in my way; this one called to use a song lyrics to create a layout. Well (it may not be a surprise, I have a large library of pictures), I had to use one of my favorite pictures of my kids to create this layout.
Using the Silhouette Cameo, I cut in a circular shape, two lines of Billy Joel's song, I Love You Just The Way You Are. I pasted the cut-ous on top of Shimelle's Starshine patterned paper, and stitched around them with the sewing machine.
I love this picture |
I created the cut file leaving a gap at the beginning of each line so that my picture will fit in that spot. Using Shimelle's collection, I layered different papers behind the picture, and added cut-outs, stickers and ephemera in large cluster around the picture. Finally, a small wooden arrow was placed as a way to guide the viewer's eye to read the lyrics. Here is the final result...
I hope you also like the layout, it is different of what I do, but i love it.
