Humbled by Your Creation

Bible Journaling for Citrus Twist Kits  - HUMBLED BY YOUR CREATION -

Hi there!

It is almost time for  a new set of kits from Citrus Twist Kits (and they are gorgeous), and since we are entering the Advent season, i was inspired to create an entry all about God's love for us.  He truly is a loving God who created perfection for us even wehen he knew we were weak and will fail.

For this page, I pulled my Pinkfresh Studio watercolors, to create a late night sky.   I had been reading Genesis throughout the day, and before going to bed, i decided to use all my gratitude for the day to create this entry.

Once the background dried, I went ahead and added some doodle stars using the yellow paint included in the Grace Box, and also used  my white jelli pen to doodle some starbursts and add more stars with  more specific words of what i was thankful for that day.  Then cut the gold star trim, and glued each one around my sky.

It was such a clear night that the sky outside my window actually showed stars,  so i turned my prayer into the title for this entry.  For that i used the alphas -from Pinkfresh Studio- and some GraceBox stamps to add sentiment to the page.

To finish the page, i added a small reflexion on the day, and how the grandeur of it al just fills my heart with hope of what he has created for us, and even more of what awaits for us once Jesus calls us to his side.  Here is the completed entry:

I love how this turned out, especially since this has become one of the first entries you see on my journaling bible.  The contents of this month's CTK Grace Box are truly so versatile that i cannot seen to be able to put it down.

Remember to check Citrus Twist Kits for the new kits -being revealed in a few days- and all the other kits and stamps available.   Please let me know if you have questions on how this was put together.

Humble in Heart

Bible Journaling created for Citrus Twist Kits  - HUMBLE IN HEART -

Hello everyone!
Hope you are having a glorious Sunday!   Today, I want to share with you all the first entry I created using the gorgeous Citrus Twist Kits Grace Box for November.   AS soon as open this month's CTK box, to create this page all about Psalms 25:9

"He guides the humble in what is right,
and teaches the humble his way."

All the floral ephemera from the Whimsical collection included in this month's Grace box kit bring so much live to the page that i opted for a very fall color for the background.

I added a bit of Distress Oxides using an applicator to the frame of the page, then used the stamp and the acrylic paint included in the kit to add the small yellow details in the mixed media.   While the  paint dried, I built a few clusters of the ephemera so that it accented the mixed media frame.

Those beautifil gold alphas shine in the title surrounded by the floral clusters.  Loving this box more each day! .  All was left was to add my devotional lines and some more atamped sentiments.  Here is the completed page:

We serve a GOD who is merciful and fair, he will guide you through the right path as soon as you surrender to HIS love, that is his promise!

I hope you stop by Citrus Twist Kits to check this and all the other kits.  They are gorgeous.  Remember I am always a comment away if you have questions on how this came together.

Have a blessed day!

I Am Woven By His Love

Bible Journal spread created for Citrus Twist Kits  - I AM WOVEN BY HIS LOVE -

Hi there friends,

Nathalie with you today sharing a bit of my bible Journaling journey with you all.   If you follow my blog or work, then you would know that i color in my Bible, but just recently started sharing a few of my faith related projects.

This month's Citrus Twist Kits Grace Box is filled withso many beautiful pieces that it was so easy to put together this spread.    As soon as i saw the "WOVEN" die cut in the ephemera pack, i knew that i wanted to document Psalm 140:13-14:

"For you formed my inward parts,
you knitted me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well."

First i created the background for the page using the stencil set included in the kit, and Vicki Boutin's acrylic pop paints.   To get the soft look of the flowers, the paint was applied using a baby wipe.  Once it dried,  a bit of detailing was added using a black fine liner; this helps define the stenciled flowers.

To create the title of this page, I used a combination of the stamp set and alphas included in this month's CTK Grace Box, and then added the large "WOVEN" die cut in it.   All those puffy stickers are perfect to add some embellishments to the page.    I am not a clip-kinda-girl, but the kit had all this pieces of fabric that matched the colors perfectly, so I tied one of the pieces to a heart clip, and mark the page with this clip.

I love how this turned out!  The soft flower stencils form the perfect background for the sentiment  that this page conveys!.

Stop by the Citrus Twist Kits Shop to check this month's Grace Box.   It is so versatile that you will have plenty of goodies to transform your Bible entries and faith memory keeping.

AS always  let me know if you have questions on this was put together.

XO!

You Are Enough

Scrapbook Layout created for Citrus Twist Kits  - YOU ARE ENOUGH -

HI there!

The new  Citrus Twist Kits September kit have been revealed, and they are gorgeous.  So much that i had to get them all, and I am so happy to have done so.   I have been blessed to have such an awesome boss (Trina, the owner of CTK)  who puts together awesome kits, and is passionate about shring them.  As of last month, I decided to start sharing a bit more of my Faith scrapbooking, so i started to get the Grace Box kits from CTK, and i am so upset i did not get them before, as I love them so much!.

I started working the background on a mixed media sheet from Thermo Web, and played with some Vicki Boutin acrylic paints, Vicki Boutin's Ink Spill stencil, and some PinkFresh studio liquid watercolors to create the background of my page.   Sometimes inspiration just hits you late at night, so the picture is not the best quality ;)

This month's Grace Box kit is filled with beautiful papers (Vicki's Boutin - Field Notes collection, Jen Hadfield - My Bright Life, and Maggie Holmes - Willow Lane collection) , exclusive die cuts and stamps, and a set of stencils from Vicki Boutin ( there is also some puffy stickers from Vicki's collection included).

As soon as I saw the beautiful flower wreath paper from Vicki's collection, i fussy cut half the page, and used it to create the large floral cluster that surrounds the picture.   Just love how this turned out.

One of my favorite things in the CTK kits are the exclusive stamps, and this month's Grace Box kit one is so beautiful and profound.  So i used it to add sentiments around the  clusters created on the page. Love the simple die cuts that also complete the clusters.

I was so inspired after reading my bible, i happened to have been studying Ephesians, and had memorized Ephesians 2:10
"For we are God's handiwork,
created in Christ Jesus to do good works,
which God prepared ahead for us to do."

and used this page as  a reminder that all my doubts about being selfworth are unfounded, cause He created me with a plan in mind.  I am his creation, I am ENOUGH.

Stop by the Citrus Twist Kits shop to check all the new kits available, and all the new goodies available in the store.  You will love them all!!!

Let me know if you have questions on how this came together..

Have a blessed Sunday!!!

Love

Multi Media project created for Citrus Twist Kits  -  LOVE -

Hi there!

It is a busy day in my blog, but after two weeks away from social media, it is time to share some of  the last monthly projects.   This time I want to share with you a project created using Citrus Twist Kits' August 2018 Grace Box kit.  I got to work with this kit this month ( and Imight have subscribed to it , too!) and loved each project created with it.

Using the paint and stencil included in the kit, this background was created in just a few minutes.   The color of the paint works as the perfect background for the white die cuts.

A bit of white vellum behind the flowers brings opacity to them, and makes them pop of the page.  All the leaves/branches were also added to the cluster  and under the picture.

A bit of gold paint was added to the "love" die cut piece so that it stands off the page.  This serves as the title of the page.

To finish the page, I added a few details using the highlighters included in the Grace Box, and more details using the kit's stamp set.  I also added some butterflies left from a previous project created with this kit.   To finish the layout, I added a bit of journaling and the entire Isaiah 41:10 verse below the title, as well as some gold ink droplets.  Here is the finished layout:

Love how this turned out!   and it was so easy to put together using just the box contents.  The following video will show you the process:

Thank you so much for joining me today.   Remember to check this month's Grace Box kit and all the other kits at Citrus Twist Kits. I am always a comment away if you have questions on how this came together.
