My Personal Journal - Week 27

hello back!

Like I mentioned in the previous post,  it has been a rather busy couple of weeks.  Just a few more projects to complete before taking a small break to vacation in town with family from overseas. So without much further ado, here are the entries for week 27 in my personal journal:

These entries are a good representation of how busy my life has been, and the joy it is to create a visual journal to tell it.  A hybrid page (large title and backgrounds take the guessing game and take care of a lot of the embellishing on a page), a simple scrapbook page, and a scraplift, all simple ways to  get your stories told on a TN.  I have used mostly Citrus Twist Kits, and some In A Creative Bubble digitals to complete the pages.

I have combined some CTK kits with Altenew stamps to create these pages.   Love the clean look of the pages, and how beautifully they tell our story.

The flower paper used in the top entry is one of my favorites ever from Citrus Twist Kits, and though I consider hoarding it, I kept reminding myself that i need to use more of my supplies.  So i am taking my time to see ways into adding my stories using all the goodies i am safe keeping.

Well, that is all for me for today.   It is time to dive in back into video and picture editing, so I can continue sharing what i create with you all.

As always leave me a comment if you have questions on how this came together.

My Personal Jounal - Week 25

Hi there!

Summer is happenning here in Toronto, the temperatures outside are reaching above 40C.  As always life is busy, and some things get put aside, in my case sharing my Personal Journal entries.  I am actually on to week 27 on my journal, but before I show you week 26, let me give you a peek at the previous week.

So much to document, that i chose to just keep it to a major story a day, and then work a few others for DT projects and a Summer TN.  Still using mostly my Citrus Twist Kits and stamps, along with some digital files from Ali Edwards and CTK.

I love working with digital files (CTK and IN A Creative Bubble ) in my journal.  The option of going hybrid for some of my pages helps speed the documenting process.  However, I cannot stay away from stamps, actually i find that i love combining stamps from different manufacturers to retell my stories.

Well that is all for me for today,   I will be back in a bit with last week's entries.  Remember to capture and document your story, as only you can!

take care!

My Personal Journal - Week 23

Hello everyone!

Hope you all are enjoying the beautiful weather of this time of the year. We are halfway through the year! and as always i continue to document my days on my TN.  Here are last week's entries

So many small stories happenning this week, that I could have filled an entire book on them, so i chose to just pick the biggest one for this TN.   These two entries were created using Citrus Twist Kits digital files, kits and stamps.   Just love the exclusive pieces CTK offers.

Though I am loving June's CTK kits, I am still bringing in some pieces from previous month's kits.  I was really drawn to monochrome entries this week,a s they are so easy and fast to put together.

The newest Feed Your Craft stamp set was also added to some of this week's entries.   The clean look of the  stamp images works seamlessly with the CTK stamps.

That is all for me for this week.  Remember to take some time to document your days!

Til next week!

My Personal Journal - week 21

Hi there!

I don't know how the weather is on your little corner of the world. but Toronto is feeling like Summer, and we have not yet even experienced Spring.   It is amazing how fast time runs, and we don't even realize it at times.  It is life, I guess, always being on the run; so it is always good to stop and smell the roses, or in my case  capture and document small moments.  With that being said, let me show you this week's entries on my personal journal.

I am a stamp lover, and could not pass up a few new releases from Feed Your Craft; so  as soon as i received them, I put them to use in some of my tn entries along with my Citrus Twist Kits goodies.

This week i was drawn to having a full spread per day ( a few extras included), so i chose to go for a few hybrid additions to some of my entries -using Studio Calico and In a Creative Bubble digital files-

This month's Citrus Twist Kits PL kit featured Crate Paper's Wild Heart collection, and one of the papers in my selection was this large graphic one.  Gotta say that i love how easy it was to combine it with pictures and stamps to create a sweet page about my baby.

Well that is all for me for this week. I hope these serve as inspiration to take a few minutes a day to document your memories in whichever format of your choice.

have a safe week!

My Personal Journal - Week 15

Hi back!

There are so many small little things happenning every day, and sometimes they combine and affect your daily routines.  To say the least, this week we had to deal with some family emergencies, and life.  These meant that the entries were kept simple so that they can easily be added to my tN.

Here are some of this week's highlights:

Still created these pages using mostly Citrus Twist Kits PL and Studio Calico kits.   Most digital stamps and elements come from Ali Edwards and Citrus Twist Kits.

I don't know if you were affected by this week's weather,  but around here it dictated how we spent our weekend, so what better way than to document it

well that is it for me, for now!  Hopefully things begin to settle, and I won't take long to share some of the entries with you all.

remember to document your every days!
