Hi there!
Welcome to the Altenew November 2019 Stamp/Die/Stencil Release Blog Hop + Giveaway. You are arriving from Laura Jane's blog and already are inspired by all her creations ( a list of all the participants is available at the bottom of this post).
I am so excited about this release as there are so many beautiful products to chose from, that it was easy and hard to decide on what to play with. But, i think i better show you what i have created.
I used the Wavy Roses stencil and waterbrush Marker refills in Purple Wine, Sunkissed and Moss to create the background watercolor flowers, then cut the shapes using the Wavy Roses die set. I created the Wavy Outlines using metallic paper so that the flowers will stand out on the page.
I used a bit of mixed media on the background, i used a bit of gesso and the Feeling Dotty stencil to add some texture to the page. Once i created the floral clusters, I used the Mix & Match Mariposa die to cut butterflies from metallic paper and vellum. These were added to the clusters. To finish i added a title using Black Obsidian Pigment ink and the Across the Pond stamp set. The following video will show you how this page came together:
Just love how this came together, and decided to use the same flowers to create a card that also uses the new Fancy Thanks die .
I started by adding a piece of the Peach Gold Washi tape to a card panel. I used the Wavy Outlines and Watercolor brush Reinkers to create the flower cluster of this card.
I cut the Fancy Thanks sentiment three times from white cardstock and once from Gold shimmer paper. These were stacked together to form a dimensional die cut, and then set on the card. Love the color combo of the page.
My next project uses the beautiful Poppy Garden stamp and Die set along with the Handwritten Hello die set and the Watercolor pan set. I combined these to create a layout for my Family album (Citrus Twist Kits).
For this layout, i stamped the Poppy Garden images on white cardstock using Gold Pigment ink from Altenew. These were detailed using the Watercolor Pan set and then cut with the coordinating die.
To build the page, i created a background from patterned paper and set the flowers around the perimeter of the page. For the title, I cut one of the Handwritten Hello from gold glitter paper and mixed it with some fine block Alphas. I really love how this turned out.
For my final project, i chose the Small Moments stamp and die set, Across the Pond stamp set and Handwritten Hello die set on a layout for my album.
I chose a small curved design to create the background of this page. Once i marked the line, I stamped the Small Moments motif using Altenew inks in gradient colors. Then used Pigment Gold ink and embossing powder to create a few images of the motif and cut them with the coordinating die.
I used the Handwritten Hello Die to cut some of the words from purple and teal metallic paper and stacked them together. I added a sentiment from the Across the Pond Stamp set as a subtitle to the page, and finish the page by adding the sentiment from the Small Moments stamp set next to the picture. You can see how this came together in the following video:
I had so much fun creating these projects, and I hope they have inspired you to check the new products.

ReplyDeleteI give you 5 stars out of 5 for the intrinsic beauty of the scrapbook page. The raised, metallic outlines are colossally creating texture as well as beauty. The video was hugely helpful.
