ALTENEW BUILD-A-FLOWER: LAVENDER RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY

Hi there!
Welcome to the ALTENEW BUILD-A-FLOWER: LAVENDER Release Blog Hop + Giveaway.  You have just visited Ashlea's blog  -you can find a list of all the participants at the bottom of this post), and i am sure you are inspired by her project.

The new Altenew BAF: Lavender is beautiful, easy to layer and with all the perfect details of the real Lavender sprig.  I chose to create a layout for my Family Album (Citrus Twist Kits Life Crafted Album) using this stamp set.

For this page, i used the Shades of Purple and Tropical Forest  mini cube set to create the Lavender  sprigs for the title page.

The stamped flowers were attached to the page with a bit of foam adhesive, and then i tied them together with a small piece of string.  I used a small tag to stamp one of the BAF Lavender sentiments  and slipped it on the string.

For the other side of the layout, i used only the 2nd and 3rd steps of the stamp to create the background of the page using Warm Gray mini ink cube set.  For this, i created a masking image so that i could stamp the images continuously on the page and create a bit of dimension without adding bulk on the page.

To finish the page, i added a journal spot made from the Magnolia Heart Die  and then added a few stickers and enamel dots (Altenew Red Cosmos set) to complete the page.  The following video will show you how this page came together:

I love how this turned out, and i hope it has inspired you to check the new BAF: Lavender Stamp and Die set.   Remember that Altenew has a special Subscription program:

This is a monthly subscription plan for our Build-A-Flower set. When signed up, you are guaranteed a spot in our monthly BAF releases and will receive a set each month - at a specially discounted price! ($35.00 →$29.99)

Really neat how you did the grey scale background for the photo layout making the photo and the colored flowers stand out on the entire layout. Soooooo dramatic and inspiring.
