Together Always

Bible Journal spread created for Citrus Twist Kits  - TOGETHER ALWAYS -

Hi there!

Today I want to share with you  something very dear and near to my heart.  I think not a lot of you know that i love to color in my bible.  I have been putting color and the word together for a couple years now in different ways ( personal journal, layouts, and bible illustration), so this month i will show you a few of how, what and why I love this form of devotionals.

For this page, I am using this month's Citrus Twist Kits Grace Box.   This small kit can easily be classified as a multi-media kit, as it is so versatile.  The color combo is superb, vibrant and beautiful just perfect to bring the Word to live in color.

This page focuses on ISAIAH 41:10 - " Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you and help you; I willuphold you with my righteous right hand."   and was inspired by ISAIAH 40-31.

It all started with applying a thin layer of the teal paint to the gessoed bible page. Heavy on the journaling panel, and thinner as it approached the words.  I made sure to highlight the verses that inspire this page.

A bit of white acrylic paint was used to create extra details on the page.  The butterflies were punched from some of the kit's papers and glued around the page.

To create the title, I used a combination of the exclusive die cuts and alphas included in this month's CTK Grace Box.  The stamp set included is so gorgeous, and perfect to convey the sentiment of the page.

Love how this turned out.   The combination of color, stamps and paper is perfet to remind me of my Lord's promised of being by my side at all times.  Here is a small video on how this page came together:

I hope this inspires you to stop by Citrus Twist Kits to check this month's Grace Box kit, and all the other kits available, they are truly gorgeous.

As always please contact me if you have questions on how this turned out.

XO
