Pinkfresh Studio February 2022 Stamp, Die, Stencil, and Hot Foil Release

Hi there!

Welcome to PINKFRESH STUDIO FEBRUARY 2022 STAMP, DIE, STENCIL, AND HOT FOIL RELEASE.  Today, we are celebrating the new products Pinkfresh Studio has created.  There are so many products to chose from as they are so beautiful and versatile.

Let me show you what I have created with some of the new products:

The new Botanicals and Butterfiles Cling Stamp set is a must!!  I love this set, as it encompasses movement while being delicate. But, the best part is you can pop the butterfly stamp part out of the larger stamp.

I used Black Detail ink to stamp all my images, then used the Botanicals and Butterflies Layering Stencil to color the stamped images with Pinkfresh Studio Premium inks. The stencil makes it so easy to color all the images.  The coordinating Botanicals and Butterflies Die set just makes it so easy to cut all the pieces in one pass.

I  love Pinkfresh Studio hot foil plates, and the new Geo Tiles Hot Foil Plate creates the most amazing graphic images. I am using two of these panels to build the background of my page.   I added a bit of color to the panels (in an ombre fashion) using Premium inks and the coordinating Geo Tiles Layering Stencil.

There are so many new beautiful cover plates available in this  release, I am using the new Daisy Chain cover plate to create the paper that backs the picture.    All I needed was my title( Inna Alphabet Suite and Essentials: You Die), and a few gems to finish my page.

Be sure to check all the new products being released today.   There is so much to love!!

Of course Pinkfresh Studio is celebrating the release with a Giveaway:

- Pinkfresh Studio will be giving away the full release on the Pinkfresh blog & YouTube channel.

Altenew February 2022 Flowers & Swirls Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in total prizes)

Hi there!

Welcome to ALTENEW FEBRUARY 2022 FLOWERS & SWIRLS COLLECTION RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY.  You are arriving from Laura Bassen's blog. A list of all the participants is available at the bottom of this page for your convenience

There is so much to love in this new release from Altenew;  from layering flower dies to a complete gorgeous flower suite, it was easy and hard to pick what to work with... Let me show you what I have created:

I love the new MAGNOLIA BALLERINA Stamp/Die/Coloring Stencil/Embossing Folder Bundle, and use all of the suite to create this new spread in my daily journal.

I love how the die set and coloring stencil fit the embossing folder perfectly; this means I can create a dimensional embellishment for my project in a few steps. Plus the MAGNOLIA BALLERINA Stamp set has the best sentiments -perfect to create titles, too-

I am a fan of partial die cutting elements; so the new EDGED WILDFLOWER DIE was one I wanted to use  for this page( boys and flowers match perfectly!!!).

Once again, I reached for the MAGNOLIA BALLERINA STAMP SET for some of  the sentiments to  create the title for this spread.

I love geometric/graphic dies, and the new STARLIGHT DIE combines those two qualities.  The shape reminded me of  a snowflake; so, it made it so easy to use to document the weather here in Toronto, lately!

And of course, I made cards!!!

The new WISPY FEATHERS LAYERED DIE SET is one I loved as soon as I saw the design of the feathers.  I wanted to keep the card light and airy as the feathers.   So, I cut the feathers from white cardstock, and the backing shape from vellum.

I used a WISPY FEATHERS DIE SET to cut one of the outline shapes from metallic cardstock, and used it as a middle layer in the top feather... The hint of the color adds dimension and definition to the card.  Did I mentioned, I am loving all the sentiment in the MAGNOLIA BALLERINA STAMP SET!

For my last project, I am using the new DAINTY LEAVES DIE SET to create my card, and I love how this turned out. I cut a few of the leaves from vellum and white cardstock, then bundled them together inside a small tag (Terrific Tags Die set, colored with Liquid Watercolor refills)

One last time, I am using the MAGNOLIA BALLERINA stamp set to add the sentiment on the card's tag.  Just love how this turned out, and might mass produce this design!

I hope these have given you some inspiration for your future projects with today's release.   I cannot wait to see what you create.

Of course, Altenew is celebrating the release with a fun GIVEAWAY

EVERYDAY DOCUMENTING with LET IT SNOW - Doodlebug Design

One of my favorite ways to document my everyday moments are small format pocket pages.  I keep Traveler Notebook albums filled with memories of the small things.   This format allows me to document my memories in style; so, I reached for LET IT SNOW to document the latest Snow-mageddon here in Toronto

I started by enlarging one of the photos to 5x8.25( the size of the pages), and matching it with an instax size pocket protector.   Chit Chat pieces make perfect titles, all you need is a bit of foam adhesive to make them pop from the page.

The tags in the Bits and Pieces pack fit perfectly in the pockets, so I am using one to add my journaling.  The small print in the 6x6 paper pad is perfect to create cards for the pockets.  Once again, I reached for some foam adhesive to add my embellishments outside of the pocket.

Since our snow storm was immense, I had to use the back of this spread to share the  aftermath of the 45cm of snow

I tried to follow the same recipe as the previous page, and added some of the embellishments outside of the pocket. I love adding tactile elements to my spreads.

This time I am using patterned paper for the base of my layout ( I am using the stripe design in the tag to have a cohesive spread), and a smaller photo.  I am using the same paper as the small card to back my photo, then once again using one of the Bits and Pieces labels to add my journal lines.

A few more embellishments just complement the story.   Simple, easy, but filled with Doodlebug cuteness!! I hope this inspires you to use your Doodlebug goodies to document your stories regardless of the format.

Altenew Dreamy Bouquet Fabric Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in total prizes)

Hi there!

Welcome to ALTENEW DREAMY BOUQUET FABRIC RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY. You are  arriving from Altenew Card Blog.  A list of all the participants is available at the bottom of this post for your convenience.

Today, Altenew is releasing their first Fabric Collection... The new DREAMY BOUQUET FABRIC - A Fat Quarter Collection.   This new collection features classical Altenew designs that now can be used in other mediums.  Let me show you what I have created

I started with using the gorgeous pink print to cover one of my notebooks.

Fabric glue and a bit of tension is all I needed to stretch the fabric over the cover.  Once the glue dried, I simply trimmed any excess.  I don't mind a bit of fraying on the sides.

I even loved the ribbon the DREAMY BOUQUET Fat Quarter comes tied up with.  I used a large clip and a piece of the ribbon to create a bow clip for my notebook.

For my next project, I used two of the fabric designs to create this utility roll.   Think of it as a portable pocket case.

How fun are all those pockets, and how easy it is to carry a few necessities around in style!

Be sure to check the new DREAMY BOUQUET FABRIC COLLECTION  today.  You are going to love how it is going to stretch your crafting possibilities.   Of course we are celebrating the release with a fun giveaway!

$300 in total prizes! To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 2 lucky winners and a $25 gift certificate to 8 winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or each designer’s blog post on the blog hop list below by 02/23/2022 for a chance to win.
