Pinkfresh Studio March 2022 Washi, Stamp, Die, Stencil, and Hot Foil Release

Today we are celebrating a new collection filled with amazing designs, and perfect for all sorts of paper crafting project. I combined  a few products of the release to create this scrapbook layout

I started my page by using the new Nested Hexagons Hot Foil plate, and Nested Hexagons die set to create a series of  foiled hexagons.  I chose to also use the left over foils to create a second impression of the hexagons using my Solid Hot Foil plate.  I set the hexagons as to form frames on the  Happy Heart collection's Small Joys paper.

The new Dahlia Washi Tape and Rainbow Floral Washi tape are gorgeous.    I  added the washi tape to white cardstock,  then used the coordinating die to trim all the florals.   My choice to mix the pink and gold foil tones of the Dahlia Washi tape with the colorful watercolor feel of the Rainbow Floral Washi Tape works nicely in clusters at corners of each hexagon cluster.

I placed a photo of my hubby and I on Valentine's day to two of the frames.  I added small embellishments as the washi tapes provide plenty of interest to each frame.

The new Rainbow Sentiments Die Cut Ephemera pack is  filled with sentiments and sentences that you can use in your cards and scrapbooks.  I chose to use the script font as extra embellishment in the photo's clusters, and opted for the heavier font to create the title for my page.   I added a small butterfly sticker ( Happy Heart collection) to accent the title of the page.

Just love how this turned out,  all I need is to add my journaling!    I am sure you are all thinking about the possibilities of these new products in your projects.  Remember to check them all in the Pinkfresh Studio Shop.

Altenew March 2022 Whimsical Fairy Tale Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in total prizes)

Hi there!

Welcome to ALTENEW MARCH 2022 WHIMSICAL FAIRY TALE COLLECTION BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY. You are arriving from LauraJane's blog.  A list of all the participants is available at the bottom of this post for your convenience.

Today's new embossing folder and stencil collection release is fun and versatile. There is a collection of delicate and unique designs that are sure to bring that magical touch to your projects. Let me show you what I have created with my product choices.

I am a fan of geometrical shapes, so the new CHECKERED DIAMONDS 3D Embossing Folder was probably one of my favorites.  I started with blending ink to the background going from light blue to light teal, them running it through my embossing folder.

I used the Bold Cap Alpha dies to cut the title from the embossed cardstock. Then used the left over embossed cardstock to create my journal card for my spread!

For my next project, I took advantage of the new SYLVAN BAROQUE 3D Embossing folder for  a slim line card.

I simply embossed the card panel twice.  Then added a bit of black ink to all the flowers - this brings the details of the folder-. I added a sentiment and some crystals to complete the project.

The new FLOWER BED 3D Embossing Folder is beautiful.  This time, I added the ink to the top flap of folder before running it through the die cutting machine.   The results are magical,

I trimmed the embossed panel to fit inside the frame ( Stamp Frame Die set) then used metallic paper to cut the sentiment for the card.

For the last project, I wanted to use the SCALLOPED FRAME 3D Embossing folder to create the background for the card.  Once I embossed the panel, I used an ink blending tool to add color to just the frame.

I added one of the CAF- Magnolia as the focal point of the card, then stamped the sentiment to complete it all.

All these projects came together very easily.  I am sure you are going to see all the possibilities of the Whimsical Fairy Tale Collection.

HAPPY GIRLS - Doodlebug Design

Spring is here! and it is time to start thinking about all those happy and colorful celebrations together with family.   And what better way to bring a touch of happiness and color to a project than with the FAIRY GARDEN Collection.

This collection is one of my favorites, and perfect to document pictures of my littlest cousins -and the bond they are forming- in my gratitude journal.

I started by adding a piece of patterned paper to the bottom edge of my notebook.   I used the 6x6 paper pad from Lots of Love collection to build layers behind the photo.  I pulled a few floral pieces from the collections to create the cluster at the bottom corner of the photo.

For my title, I am combining Chit Chat  and Odd & Ends Pieces from Fairy Garden and adding a few MyType alphas.  Those little banners were perfect for this page!

I am using the half of the second page of my spread to add my journal lines.  I added a small cluster of embellishments to balance the rest of the page.  I just love how this turned out!

I cannot wait what you all create with all your Doodlebug Cuteness!

Pinkfresh Studio Happy Heart/Life Right Now Collections Release Blog Hop

Hello there!

Welcome to PINKFRESH STUDIO HAPPY HEART/LIFE RIGHT NOW COLLECTIONS RELEASE BLOG HOP.  Today, we are celebrating these new two collections with lots of inspiration and  of course giveaways.  Let me show you what I have created

I am a daily documenter, so the new LIFE RIGHT NOW COLLECTION is just perfect for my journals (and  I keep about 3-4 different formats and themes throughout the year).  This time, I am taking advantage of all the reading icons from the collection to add a spread in my Reading Journal.

I started with my title/journal page.  The new Time for Fun paper was the starting point for this page. I simply trimmed  the sentiment, and hand stitched the large word.  I am using the Social Hour paper for the background of the page; once I attached the title and journal to it, then I added the small chair and shelf to the page.

I used patterned paper and the chipboard frames of the collection to create a pocket/grid design for the second half of my spread.   I just love how the frames just tie this page perfectly, and all the little chipboard flair and stickers are perfect to document all my reading.

Just love the new LIFE RIGHT NOW collection.   It is versatile, fun, and perfect for all sorts of life documenting!

Of course Pinkfresh Studio is celebrating the release with a generous GIVEAWAY

-They are giving away the full release on the Pinkfresh blog & YouTube channel.

- In addition, they are giving away a total of TEN $25  gift cards along the hop. As per usual with blog hops - the winners will be picked from the comments.
