Altenew Build-A-Flower: Narcissus Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($200 in total prizes)

The new BUILD-A-FLOWER: NARCISSUS is beautiful. It has such a delicate design, and it is so easy to layer to create amazing flowers. Let me show what I have created with it:

I love the movement in the stems and branches of the BAF NARCISSUS design. So, I am taking advantage of it to create the title page for my new journal entry.

I created a mask from the stamp set, and used it to create a large cluster of flowers that cover my entire page. It is always a fun thing to take a look at images of the flowers to pick colors. I chose the white version of the Narcissus, so used a bit of gray ink to add details to the outside petals of the flower.

My title page is filled with details; that means, I have to keep my journal page simple. I opted for creating a single BAF: NARCISSUS to accent the journal and tie it to the photo. To finish, I just added a title and sentiments from the PAF: Clematis, and a few drops of gold ink.

Just love how this turned out. The movement in the journal page, from the BAF: Narcissus are perfect to enhance the story. Remember to check out it out.

Altenew Build-A-Flower: Candystripe Cosmos Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($200 in total prizes)

The new BUILD-A-FLOWER: CANDYSTRIPE COSMOS is beautiful, and I took advantage of the movement of the design to use it in a new journal entry.

I used tones of purple and fuchsia to create the BAF CANDYSTRIPE COSMOS flowers for this layout. I stayed with muted tones of green for the leaves and background to allow the flowers to pop from the page.

I started by running a bit of the Gold String Washi Tape to the right and left edges of the layout. I then used two of the flowers to create the title page for the layout. I used the small filler leaves (in the stamp set) to bulk up the cluster of flowers.

After attaching my pictures, I used a single BAF CANDYSTRIPE COSMOS to embellish the picture side of the layout. A few simple journal lines complete the entry.

Altenew Mighty Kind Stand Alone Dies Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in total prizes)

Today's new release is one that you all will love! There is so many choices, and they are all perfect for many paper crafting projects. Let me show you what I have created.

My first card features three of the new die sets. I used the CALMING REFLECTION Cover Die to cut the card panel from white cardstock. I attached it to a light gray pre made A2 card. I then used the new LOVELY ENVELOPE Die Set to create the little envelope of double sided gray cardstock, then opted to cut all the hearts from glitter cardstock.

I used foam adhesive to attached the envelope and heart die cuts to the card base. I used the BE KIND Die Set to create the sentiment for the card. I chose to create the shadow die cut from pink cardstock, and the sentiment from glitter cardstock. I love how easy this came together!

I love using dies to create my journal entries. This time, I started the page with the new

I started this layout by cutting the title from mirror paper using the MIGHTY ALPHABET Die Set. The large alpha is just dreamy!!! I am using the new FLOWING FOLLIAGE Die Set to create the embellishments for this page.

I love the small sentiment strips in the new WAY TO GO Die Set, and chose to cut one of them from mirror paper and add it to the bottom of the picture to complete my page.

For my next page, I am using the new PAINTED BLOOMS Die Set for the floral embellishments of this page - I love this die set!!!-. It is such a small and detailed die set, you want to add it to your stash.

The angular lines of the SIMPLE SHAPES Cover die are the perfect contrast and compliment to the fancy florals!! Just perfect combo!

For my last project, I am using the new ROSE QUEEN Die Set to create the floral image of the card our of metallic rose gold paper, then backed the pieces with white cardstock. I created the background using the Diamond Star 3d Embossing folder, the contrast of the lines against the delicate florals is sublime!

I used the new WAY TO GO Die Set to cut a simple sentiment from the same paper and added it with a bit of foam adhesive!
