Altenew Build-A-Flower: Narcissus Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($200 in total prizes)

The new BUILD-A-FLOWER: NARCISSUS is beautiful. It has such a delicate design, and it is so easy to layer to create amazing flowers. Let me show what I have created with it:

I love the movement in the stems and branches of the BAF NARCISSUS design. So, I am taking advantage of it to create the title page for my new journal entry.

I created a mask from the stamp set, and used it to create a large cluster of flowers that cover my entire page. It is always a fun thing to take a look at images of the flowers to pick colors. I chose the white version of the Narcissus, so used a bit of gray ink to add details to the outside petals of the flower.

My title page is filled with details; that means, I have to keep my journal page simple. I opted for creating a single BAF: NARCISSUS to accent the journal and tie it to the photo. To finish, I just added a title and sentiments from the PAF: Clematis, and a few drops of gold ink.

Just love how this turned out. The movement in the journal page, from the BAF: Narcissus are perfect to enhance the story. Remember to check out it out.

Altenew Build-A-Flower: Honeysuckle Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($200 in total prizes)

The new BUILD-A-FLOWER: HONEYSUCKLE is beautiful, very easy to layer, and with lots of movement in the design. I have used it to create a new entry in my daily journal:

I chose to stay in tones of yellow and orange for my BAF- HONEYSUCKLE flowers as they match the color of the oranges, my daughter is playing with in the photos.

The design of the BAF: HONEYSUCKLE has lots of movement in them which came in handy when constructing my journal page. The flowers naturally formed a corner cluster that framed the title and journal nicely.

I chose to just use one of the large flowers as the anchor and embellishment for the photo side of my layout. The small bud image of the BAF stamp just adds movement to the clusters.

I love how this turned out, and cannot wait to see what you create with your BAF: HONEYSUCKLE. Remember you can always use the subscription program to secure each monthly release delivery at your doorstep.

Altenew Build-A-Flower: Wild Rose Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($200 in total prizes)

This month's BAF: WILD ROSE is gorgeous. It is so easy to layer, and with amazing results. Let me show you what I created:

I used the new BAF stamp/die set to create a new entry in my daily journal. I used the same color inks as the example in the package.

I chose to omit the first stamp step in some of my flowers, this yields a softer flower overall, which complements the black and white tone of the picture.

I created corner clusters for my layout with the new BAF:WILD ROSE, and chose to use the new All About You Words and Glitter cardstock for the title. I used the sentiments in the stamp set to add a few extra stamping around the page.
