Altenew + Pinkfresh Studio “Celebrate” Collaboration Blog Hop Details + Giveaway

Hi there!
Welcome to the Altenew+Pinkfresh Studio "CELEBRATE" Collaboration Blog Hop Details + Giveaway!   You are arriving from the Pinkfresh Studio Blog  - a list of all the blog hop participants is available at the bottom of this post for your convenience-

Today, two of my most favorite companies are collaborating in one gorgeous collection "CELEBRATE".  I am so blessed to be part of both design teams, so it was a joy to be able to mix and match stamps, dies, embellishments and papers in my memory keeping.  Let me show you:

For my first spread, i used the Celebrate Us Stamp and Die set to create the gorgeous florals that cascade through the two pages of my spread.

I chose the  This Day paper as the background for the page, then decided to stamp the flowers using Obsidian ink for the outline, and then using just the detailing part of the stamp set to add details to the images (  Altenew Crisp Inks: Parrot, Coral Berry, Buttercream, Rose Quartz, Baby Pink).

I added my lines of journal to a piece of vellum. I added a die cut word (Celebrate Us Die Set) at the top of the journal lines, and then attached it to the background.  Just a few embellishments ( Altenew Enamel dots) and then one of the Celebrate Ephemera pieces as a title.

Simple, colorful and just perfect.  But there is so much more that you can create with this collection, let me show you a pocket page layout:

For this spread, i started by creating my journal page using the Always patterned paper.  I trimmed it to the painted details sit at the top corner of the page.  This time, i used the  Celebrate Today stamp set and Obsidian Ink to create the border around the painted area of the paper - using a mask helps to create the corner cluster stamped image-.

For my title page, i decided to replicate the journal page, and trimmed a corner of the Always paper to fit a 3x4 card pocket.  Then followed by stamping the Celebrate Today floral image on the bottom corner, and finally creating the title with the sentiments  of the same stamp set.  The small heart from the Celebrate Ephemera complete the card.

I just backed my picture with a piece of the This Day paper and then created   a small phrase sentiment using the Celebrate Today stamp sentiments.   This new collection is the perfect combination of paper, embellishments and of course stamps and dies.

For my last project, i decided to combine the entire collection in one scrapbook page:

For this page, i used the leftover piece of the  Always Paper and paired it up with the Progress paper for the background.

I used the Celebrate Us stamp set  to create all the florals. This time, i used Altenew's Obsidian Ink for the outline, and Pinkfresh Studio Crip Inks in: Misty Coat, Lemmon Whip, Ballet Slipper, Peach Fuzz, Coral Reef, Fresh Pear and Olive to detail the flowers.

I used the Celebrate Today stamp set to add a little bit of interest to the background.  Using Pinkfresh Studio Crisp inks  ( in coordinating colors as the background), i added a soft impression of the floral cluster and then some of the sentiments to the page.  Then added a few splatters of the diluted ink and Altenew's Metallic Watercolor palette.

To finish the page, i used the Celebrate Us Die set and Pinkfresh Studio Phrase Builder: You Die Set to create the title words.   The following video will show you how this page came together:

Just love how this page came together using the new Celebrate collection...

Of course no celebration is complete without a GIVEAWAY:

HERO ARTS + ALTENEW PARTNERS BLOG HOP

Hi there!

welcome to the HERO ARTS + ALTENEW PARTNERS BLOG HOP.   You are arriving from Michelle Short's blog (a list of all the participants is available at the bottom of this post for your convenience).

Today, i am so excited to take part of this awesome collaboration, as Hero Arts and Altenew have joined forces to create the new  Bloom & Grow stamp and die set as part of the Hero Arts 45th Anniversary.

The large floral image combined with the soft handwritten sentiments are perfect for cards, journals, and  in my case Scrapbook pages.

As soon as i open the stamp set, i had the idea of combining color, size and dimension to create a new layout in my family album (Citrus Twist Kits).

Started with a pink cardstock background, and added a center panel to the page.  Here, i used the Altenew Black Obsidian Pigment ink to stamp the large floral images at the corners of the page.

Next, i used one of the script font sentiments to create the title by embossing it with Altenew's clear embossing powder.  I also extended the embossing detail to the pink area of the stamped flowers, thus making them stand out on the pink background.

For the other side of the page, I used the Bloom & Grow stamp and die set  to create a single blossom -from the same pink cardstock as the adjacent page- and a few sets of leaves which i color  using Altenew's Artist Markers (set D, set E).

I wanted to take advantage of the size of the blossom, so i printed my pictures to fit within the width of the page.   All i needed was a few extra stickers and enamel dots to complete the page.

I love how this turned out, the new Bloom & Grow stamp and die set is beautiful and perfect for creating Scrapbook layouts.   Cannot wait how you are going to use the stamp set.

As part of the celebration, HERO ARTS and ALTENEW are holding a small GIVEAWAY along with this blog hop:

There will be 3 prizes, drawn from comments left across the blog hop:

- One winner will receive the stamp set!

Technique Tuesday & WOW! Embossing Powder Blog Hop

No photo description available.

Hi there!
Welcome to the Day Two of the Celebrate Summer with Technique Tuesday and WOW! blog hop and giveaway! You must be arriving from Sidnie's blog ( if you skipped a stop, you can start the loop here or check the bottom of the post for a list of all the hop participants).

I am so happy to be part of today's celebrations with all these super talented ladies (like, how awesome are their cards!). I love how each is starting their summer with their lovely projects, so i decided to join them with an entry to my Family Album (Life Crafted Album from Citrus Twist Kits).

What is Summer without ice cream? Well, my family happens to be ice-cream lovers (not me!) so, i pulled a few pictures of a them ( a few days ago) to create this layout.

I started by using the WOW Rose Glint and Gold Pearl powder to heat embossed the ice cream treats from the Memory Keepers Studio Sweet Summertime Stamp set. Each image was then detailed with watercolors, and set to dry completely.

Once the images dried completely, a fine brush was used to add a coat of embossing liquid to the images in order to detail them. Here i used a combination of WOW Metalline Himalayan Musk embossing powder, Taffeta Pink Embossing Glitter and Gold Pearl embossing powder to add details and that extra sparkle to the layout.

The layout background was created using papers from Echo Park's Best Summer Ever collection. For the right side of the layout, i used the embossed Sweet Summertime images to create clusters around the picture. Here a small label was created using the Essential Stitched Label Crafting dies; this was placed at the bottom cluster so that it can hold the lines of journal.

For the left side of the page, i decided to add three smaller pictures of my family and then create a large cluster/line of the embossed images to the left side of the page. I placed the title on the center photo; for this i used the Cool and Sweet Word Crafting Dies to cut a few words from white cardstock. These were stacked together to add dimension to each word, and then embossed with the WOW Pink Tafetta and Black Twinkle embossing glitter. The word "Treat" from the Sweet Summertime stamp set was then embossed using WOW Rose Glint embossing powder to complete the title.

I love how the WOW Embossing Powders bring the perfect sparkle and detail to the Sweet Summertime images and Cool and Sweet Word Crafting dies in this page. I hope this inspires you to check all the embossing powders and of course stamps and dies and combine them in your next project, and now let's check the fun part of this blog hop.
