Altenew Build-A-Flower: Candystripe Cosmos Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($200 in total prizes)

The new BUILD-A-FLOWER: CANDYSTRIPE COSMOS is beautiful, and I took advantage of the movement of the design to use it in a new journal entry.

I used tones of purple and fuchsia to create the BAF CANDYSTRIPE COSMOS flowers for this layout. I stayed with muted tones of green for the leaves and background to allow the flowers to pop from the page.

I started by running a bit of the Gold String Washi Tape to the right and left edges of the layout. I then used two of the flowers to create the title page for the layout. I used the small filler leaves (in the stamp set) to bulk up the cluster of flowers.

After attaching my pictures, I used a single BAF CANDYSTRIPE COSMOS to embellish the picture side of the layout. A few simple journal lines complete the entry.

Altenew Build-A-Flower: Honeysuckle Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($200 in total prizes)

welcome to ALTENEW BUILD-A-FLOWER: HONEYSUCKLE RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY. You are arriving from my friend's Yasmin Diaz Blog. A list of all the participants is available at the bottom of this page for your convenience.

The new BUILD-A-FLOWER: HONEYSUCKLE is beautiful, easy to layer, and with lots of movement in the design. I used it to create a new entry in my daily journal.

I used shades of yellow and orange to create the BAF Honeysuckle images. The color works nicely with the colors in the pictures.

The design of the flowers and the movement in the leaves and buds made it so easy to create a corner cluster that framed nicely the journaling and title on the page.

The small bud image, in the BAF: HONEYSUCKLE, is a perfect piece to add movement and enlarge the cluster. I only needed one image to anchor and embellish the picture part of the layout.

I love how this turned out, and how easy it was to create the BAF Honeysuckle for my pages. Remember you can always register for the subscription program to secure your monthly stamp.

Altenew Build-A-Flower: Balloon Flower Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello there!

Welcome to the Altenew Build-a-Flower: Balloon Flower Release Blog Hop + Giveaway. You are arriving from my friend - and amazing designer- Jaycee's blog.

Today, Altenew is releasing a new member in the Build-a-Flower stamp set. Welcome Balloon Flower! this new stamp and die set is beautiful and easy to build. The size of the bloom is perfect for all types of papercrafting projects, but i chose a scrapbook layout for it

I started by adding a bit of mixed media to the background using the Altenew Watercolor pan set! While the background set, i stamped the images..

I used Shades of Purple and Rose Petal mini ink cube set to stamp the florals, and Tropical Forest mini ink cube set for the leaves.

I backed the pictures of my little ones with papers from the Celebrate collection, and then create a column of florals and pieces of the Creative Cut outs:Wreath .

To finish the page, I used the Handwritten Hello Die set to cut part of the title of the page, and then completed the page with a few more embellishments and stickers.

I love how this turned out, and i cannot wait to see what you create with this new stamp set. Remember that you can always receive the Build a Flower stamp at home using the subscription program...
