BUNNY EGGS TRADITION - Doodlebug Design
We are so close to celebrating Easter, so no better time to pull out the beautiful BUNNY HOP collection to document some past Easter memories. If you have grown kids, then you know that Easter chocolate egg hunts are a thing of the past, or in our case a tradition that has evolved to just giving my adult children small boxed of chocolate eggs. So. I pulled one of the photos for this layout.
I have to say that it was fun to put this together using the collection. I wanted something that could use the photo and the title in one page.
I selected one of the coordinating Petite Prints for the layout's base, then cut a 7.5" square from the Spot of Spring, and glued it to center of the base, then trimmed a 2.5" strip and glued it at the center of the page to help me ground everything in place.
I used papers from the 6x6 paper pad to back my photo and placed on the top right corner of the diamond. I added a few Bits and Pieces, stickers and Sprinkles to create the cluster behind the top right corner of the photo.
It was all about the title for this layout. So, once I set the Chit Chat in place, I added a few extra eggs and some of those cute little bunnies.
To finish my page, I added a few extra eggs and another cute bunny plus a few Sprinkles to help define the shape in the background,
I hope this inspires you to pull your BUNNY HOP collection and get crafty with it! I cannot wait to see what you will create!

HELLO HAPPY LITTLE ONE - Doodlebug Design -
For my title, it was all about taking advantage of the angle of the paper strips. I used the line at the bottom of the page to bring pieces of Chit Chat, Alphabet Soup Puffy stickers together for my title.
To finish my layout, I am using Sprinkles to emphasize the angle in the paper folds, add texture, and a bit more interest to the page.

6x8 DECEMBER ALBUM _ Doodlebug Design
I wanted to show you how easy it is to document your regular memories with a flair in your albums. For this spread, I am connecting two different single page spread by using the same paper -from Tinsel Time collection- on both sides. The left side is simple with just photos framed with one of the journaling cards and a few extra embellishments.
For the right side of the spread, I am creating an interactive element with a pocket to house a few photos and the story of the day. The background was created with Tinsel Time coordinating cardstock. Then, I cut a 6x8 piece of paper, and created the fold before gluing to the page to create the pocket. The house Doodlepop helps to anchor the pocket and as part of the title for the page.

6X8 ALBUM - Doodlebug Design
I am loving the new 6x8 Doodlebug albums, I love documenting in a small format! So, I wanted to share with you how I am using my Cupcake 6x8 album to start documenting my December 2023 memories..
I always start my albums with a title page, that way it creates a beginning to the stories it holds. For this album, I wanted something fun and colorful.
I am using a piece of Tinsel Time paper and Berry Merry to create my pocket. A few stickers complement the colors and match the feel in the pocket page. I then added my journaling in one of the large journaling cards from the Christmas Candy paper, and added it to the pocket. I just love how all these page came together. There is so much you can do and store in your 6x8 Albums, be sure to check them out!

6x8 ALBUM - Doodlebug Designs
Happy New Year! I am so happy to start the year showcasing the new Doodlebug Designs 6x8 albums. I am an avid documenter who houses all our family memories in this format, so you can imagine how happy I am to have these at hand. Since, I keep a monthly album I like to keep my covers simple as all my albums sit on my bookcase shelves. So here is how I have decorated my December 2024 album
I wanted something colorful and classic that would not add a lot of bulk to the cover, so my choice was to work with papers from the new Tinsel Time collection for this.
I chose a Cupcake color 6x8 album for my December documenting as it is the perfect color for the season. Plus, we all love a little bit of pink in our lives. I used Tinsel Time paper to cover the front of the album. The contrast of the pink spine and mint paper is just perfect.
Using a punch, I created a scalloped border from a strip of Berry Merry paper, then added the striped sticker to add a bit of a festive look to the page, and adhere them to the bottom half of the cover. I combined stickers and pieces from the Bits & Pieces pack to create the large ephemera cluster on the left of the border.
To finish, I added a few extra details along the vertical line of the spine to complete my cover. I love how this turned out, all the color and interest without adding bulk to the cover. I hope this inspires you to decorate your new Doodlebug albums. I cannot wait to see what you will create!
