EVERYDAY DOCUMENTING with LET IT SNOW - Doodlebug Design

One of my favorite ways to document my everyday moments are small format pocket pages.  I keep Traveler Notebook albums filled with memories of the small things.   This format allows me to document my memories in style; so, I reached for LET IT SNOW to document the latest Snow-mageddon here in Toronto

I started by enlarging one of the photos to 5x8.25( the size of the pages), and matching it with an instax size pocket protector.   Chit Chat pieces make perfect titles, all you need is a bit of foam adhesive to make them pop from the page.

The tags in the Bits and Pieces pack fit perfectly in the pockets, so I am using one to add my journaling.  The small print in the 6x6 paper pad is perfect to create cards for the pockets.  Once again, I reached for some foam adhesive to add my embellishments outside of the pocket.

Since our snow storm was immense, I had to use the back of this spread to share the  aftermath of the 45cm of snow

I tried to follow the same recipe as the previous page, and added some of the embellishments outside of the pocket. I love adding tactile elements to my spreads.

This time I am using patterned paper for the base of my layout ( I am using the stripe design in the tag to have a cohesive spread), and a smaller photo.  I am using the same paper as the small card to back my photo, then once again using one of the Bits and Pieces labels to add my journal lines.

A few more embellishments just complement the story.   Simple, easy, but filled with Doodlebug cuteness!! I hope this inspires you to use your Doodlebug goodies to document your stories regardless of the format.
