Altenew Build-A-Flower: Bellaroma Hybrid Tea Rose Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello there!

Welcome to ALTENEW BUILD-A-FLOWER: BELLAROMA HYBRID TEA ROSE RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY.  You are arriving from Jenny Colacicco's blog.  A list of all the participants is available at the bottom of this post for your convenience.

Today Altenew is welcoming BUILD-A-FLOWER: BELLAROMA HYBRID TEA ROSE to the family.  This flower is super fun to layer  as it has a fun shaded design which means you can use the outline of the rose to color it in with your prefer coloring medium.  As always, my eye always goes to memory keeping, so, I used the new BAF to create a spread for my Daily Family Album

I love this new BUILD-A-FLOWER: BELLAROMA HYBRID TEA ROSE, and decided to create my own garden patterned paper with it. First, I used the die to create a mask of the flower.

I used inks from the Fall Harvest and Sugarplums ink set to create the soft shading of the flower, which meant, I had to skip the the stamp that fills the image with color.

I only created one flower using all the layering steps of the flower, and used this one as embellishment for the page.  Since I have a large photo, and all the flowers, I wanted to dim the journal lines.  So, I created a pocket vellum , added my title to the front of the pocket, and wrote my journal on a tag.  I added the flower to the front of the pocket.

The new BAF: BELLAROMA HYBRID TEA ROSE has amazing sentiments.  I used a combination of them to add a subtitle straight onto the picture using Gold embossing powder.  Then brought a few more gold accent to the page.

I love how this turned out, and I am sure you are going to love your own BAF: BELLAROMA HYBRID TEA ROSE.  Remember you can always sign up for the subscription program here

Of course we are celebrating the release with a GIVEAWAY!

$200 in total prizes! To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 1 lucky winner and a $15 gift certificate to 10 winners! 11. I love the graphic look you got by skipping the stamps that fill in the images with color. Also I love how the vellum pocket lets the florals take center stage.

  23. Beautiful. I love that smaller format for the memory-keeping. Less intimidating than trying to fill a 12 x 12 page.
