Hi there!
Welcome to ALTENEW CRAFT-A-FLOWER: SNOWDROPS RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY. You are arriving from Terri Koszler's Blog. A list of all the participants is available at the bottom of this post for your convenience.
Today we are welcoming the new CRAFT-A-FLOWER: SNOWDROPS to the Altenew family of dies. This new set is amazing!!! It is simple to layer, and the results are so delicate and realistic you are going to love working with it!
Just love the new die, and decided to work it into cards ( OMG, no memory keeping this time around!!!)
My first card is a slimline card. For this, I created my panel with wood grain paper. I lightly rubbed Antique Gold pigment ink, which brings the texture of the cardstock to the surface. While the ink dried, I used the new CAF: SNOWDROPS to cut a few of the flowers and leaves and put them together with a bit of adhesive.
For my next card, I started with a piece of Yupo paper and Pure Graphite Artist Marker Refill. I love Alcohol ink backgrounds. While the background dried, I cut a few of the CAF: SNOWDROPS, and assembled them so that they are facing different sides of the card.
I cut different color of leaves so that I could mixed them on the card front. I set the die cuts in different directions on top of the alcohol ink background. This time, I used a sentiment from the Bergenia Builder Stamp set to finish the card.
I just love the simple beauty of the die cuts, and how they are so easy to put together. Remember you can always have the new CRAFT-A-FLOWER release arrive at your doorstep by starting a subscription program.
