ALTENEW JULY 2019 STENCIL RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY

Hi there!
Welcome to the ALTENEW JULY 2019 STENCIL RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY.   You are arriving from Virginia's blog and admiring her beautiful creations - a list of all the participants is available at the bottom of this post-

Today I am so excited to be sharing a few projects created with the new Altenew Stencils.   There are so many new designs available that make it so fun and easy to create projects.  So, let's get started.

What is not to love about a Buffalo Plaid, well when you can create your own Buffalo Plaid pattern using a stencil and customize it for your page, then you know the stencil is a keeper.  For this page, i used the Spring Bouquet Ink set and the Buffalo Plaid Builder stencil to create the paper at the sides of the page.

Love how the paper turned out and the colors help frame the layout, but to bring  a little bit more interest to the picture, I chose to add the Doily Frame Stencil impression on the background of the page.

The impressions of the Doily Frame Stencil were created with rose gold glaze and are the perfect place to add the title (Live Your Dream collection), all that is left was to add a few stamped images -created using the Weekend Doodles Stamps and Die set and the Black Obsidian Pigment ink-  to complete this page.    Love how easy it was to combine stencil designs, and how rapidly it came together.

Another simple but essential stencil to add to your tools is the new Bubble Wrap stencil.  I wanted to use the shape to create a layout in my Life Crafted album (Citrus Twist Kits). So i pulled an ink blending tool and used a series of Altenew inks to create the ombre effect on the background of the title page.

The colors of the background were accented when creating the title cluster on the page.    A die cut word - Fancy Hello die-, a tag, and a repetitive shape die cut -Halftone Circle die set-, a few alphas, sticker (Enamel Dots)and a few stamped sentiments complete this side of the layout.

For the second half of the layout, i pulled some of the colors and shapes using the ink blending  tool and the Bubble Wrap Stencil just to the center of the page.   I chose to cut the picture using one of the Halftone Circle dies, and then used the Trendy Circle stamp and die set to create the embellishments of the page.   This was once again so easy and fun to put together.

I love using stencils, they are a great and easy way to create projects  in a short amount of time and with great results.  For this card, I chose to create a front panel, using the Wonderful Wreath stencil.   First i used an ink blending tool and added an impression of the wreath with Olive Altenew ink. Then added a soft impression of the Wonderful Wreath  stencil using a bit of gold glaze mixed with Altenew Moss ink and a stencil brush.

To finish the page, i chose to use the Script Words Die to cut the sentiment for the card out of metallic paper.  A few gems around the wreath complete the card.   Love how this came together.

With so many stencils to chose from, it was so mix a few Altenew products and create this page using the new Milky Way stencil.   The large title - Classic Alpha dies- and all those shimmering stars - Layered Stars Die-  just bring the idea of the page all together.

To finish this Milky Way inspired stencil page, i added a die cut word to the title  - Script word 3 die set- and then just a few embellishments from the Reflections kit.   The following video will show you how it all came together:

Since, i had some left over paste, i used it to create a card using the On The Plus Side stencil set  and the Layered Elements Floral dies.

I used the Embossing Paste and the Cosmic Berry and Sunkissed Metallic Ink Spray to create the paste used in the background.   This was used to add the On The Plus Side Stencil  impression on the card panel.

While the paste dried,  I used the Layered Floral Elements and the Wild Rose 3d die sets to create a few flowers  to decorate the card.    Then used the Graphic Brushstroke stamp set and the Black Obsidian ink to stamp the sentiment for the card.

Just love how easy these stencils were to work/play with, and all the possibilities!  You are going to love them!  Now let's hop onto the fun part of this blog post, GIVEAWAY:
