MY GIRL - Doodlebug Design

Aren't we all loving the new Petite Prints collection?  The rainbow of opportunities with it is just infinite, which makes it easy to pick a palette to suit your design.   Let me show you what I have created

The contrast of the pink walls against the blue dress was the starting point for my page.  After narrowing my color palette to these colors, I added a pop of green and got started.

I used a hexagon die to cut a few of the 6x6 Petite Print papers for the background of my page.   I punched the holes, and tied them to a 8.5x11 white cardstock base using coordinating Doodle Twine.  Then,  I matted the cardstock on Cupcake candy stripe/dot paper.

Next, I pulled my DoodleCuts Hello Fall die set and cut a few flowers that matched the colors of the papers I am using.  I combine this with pieces from Love Notes to create the clusters in each hexagon.

To finish the page, I added a few stickers from Love Notes around the clusters, and created a larger cluster of flowers around the photo. I am using the new puffy alphas to add the title under the photo.

Lastly, I added a few puffy shapes around the hexagons, and it is ready for some journaling!  I just love how easily this  came together using Petite Prints.   I cannot wait to see what you create with  them, too!

Pinkfresh Studio June 2023 Stamp, Die, Stencil, and Hot Foil Release

Hi there!

Welcome to PINKFRESH STUDIO JUNE 2023 STAMP, DIE, STENCIL, AND HOT FOIL RELEASE.  Today, we are celebrating the  release of a new set of beautiful products that will inspire you to create all sorts of projects.  I am in love with this month's release and it was hard to pick and choose what to work with!  But, I narrowed it down to three  suites for this project:

I am using the new Peony Fantasy Suite, Delicate Rosebuds Suite, and Basic Banners Everyday Suite to document a  few pictures of my daughter in this clean and simple scrapbook layout,

I started my page by ink blending a circle to the background of my page (Storm ink). Then set two Elongated Lattice cover dies on top of the background, and followed up with the photos.

I set to create my florals.  I used the Peony Fantasy Hot Foil Plate and Aura Foil to create a few of the flowers.  I used the Peony Fantasy Stencil to color my flowers, then cut them with the Peony Fantasy Die.

Next, I used the Delicate Rosebud Hot Foil Plate and Champagne foil to create a few extra flowers.  Once again, I am using soft shades of pink and coral to bring the florals to live with the Delicate Rosebud Stencil   I set these florals at the top and center of the pictures just along the center line of the layout.

Finally, I used the new Basic Banners Everyday Stamp set and Die  to create small sentiment banners that help me embellish this layout.

I just love how this turned out.  I hope this inspires you to check all the beautiful products in the release.

Now it is time to celebrate the release with a giveaway:

SUN & FUN - Doodlebug Designs

Summer is here! and I am loving documenting all the memories it brings with the new Petite Prints that were just released!   I know we all love patterned paper, and having coordinating colors of small prints makes it so easy to add your memories in style.  Let me show you what I have created.

This time, I pulled the new 6x6 paper pads from the Candy Stripe-Sprinkles and Plaid-Polkadot  collections for this layout.

I wanted to add a rainbow to my page.   So, I cut 2.25in  strips of paper from the pads to create my idea of the color formation on the page!

Using a large generic alpha die, I created a partial cut of the words SUN & FUN at the ends of the paper strips.  I used a craft knife to clean the extra paper from each cut!

Then it was all about attaching them to one of the new Plain-Polkadot prints in the rainbow color formation.  I added the photos so they are centered in the paper strips.  Then it was all about adding a few embellishments!

I am using a selection of embellishments from the Seaside Summer collection to complete my page. Just love how it all came together!

Be sure to check the new Petite Prints  collections. They are the perfect complement to our beloved Doodlebug collections, and beyond!
