HAPPY TOGETHER - Doodlebug Desi

 It is time for a new dose of rainbow!   The new OVER THE RAINBOW collection is just glorious, and perfect for all sorts of documenting. I am just so excited to share my first project with it

I wanted to showcase a rainbow on my page and to showcase some of the cute mushrooms of the collection that match the ones in the photo of my little cousins.

I started my page by creating my background from a piece of Petite Print paper ( just trimmed it in half, and flipped one side).  Then, I used a curve ruler to cut patterned paper strips from the Over The Rainbow paper pack, and added a yellow Petite Print  to complete the rainbow look.  I attached them to the center of the background in a layered look.

I backed my picture with papers from the 6x6 paper pad and bits and pieces.  I set it in the valley the rainbow curved paper strips create on the page.   I added a few pieces of chit chat and then set to add my title

The embellishments in the Over The Rainbow collection are so cute, and the mushrooms were just the perfect complement for this picture.   That mushroom Doodle Pop fit just right in the page.  I added a few pieces of Chit Chat to complete my spread.

HELLO SWEET LOVE - Doodlebug Design

Happy Valentine's Day to you all!  It is all about love and the beautiful LOTS OF LOVE collection for today's post.   I am sure you all are celebrating that special love in your lives, and what better way to safe keep the memories than in a 12x12 layout

I cut a few pieces of the 12x12 patterned paper and set them on a Petite Print paper.  I wanted pinks and reds for the background, so that everything else will contrast beautifully on the page.

I used a simple stitched heart die to cut a few hearts from the 6x6 paper pad.  I used foam adhesive to attach them to the top of the paper strips.

I am using a few of the Bits and Pieces flowers to embellish the row of hearts.  I added a few phrase stickers and also a few Sprinkles to add more interest to the hearts.

I am using a Doodle cuts to create the "Hello"and "Sweet" die cut words for my title from a patterned paper from the 6x6 paper pad.    I set this next to the picture at the bottom of the paper strips.   I completed the title with a  few pieces of Chit Chat, and a cluster of flowers from the Bits and Pieces pack.

A few extra Sprinkles complete the page.  I just love how this turned out!  Remember to document those loving memories with the beautiful Lots of Love collection!

SO HAPPY TOGETHER - Doodlebug Design

 It is time to celebrate all the things about love! And what better way than with the beautiful Lots of Love collection.   I just love all the colors and designs in the collection, they are perfect to document all the things and people you love in such a cute way.   Let me show you what I have created:

My daughter loves her little cousins, and the feeling is mutual.  I just wanted to document them all together in their happiest moments.   

I started by sticking to a small color palette ( white, teal, pink and fucshia).   The patterned papers in the collection are just perfection, so it was all about playing with pieces of them to create a layered look for the page.

There is nothing happier than a rainbow to brighten a mood.  I decided to combine pieces from the Odds and Ends pack, Stickers, and sprinkles to bring rainbows to the page.   I clustered a few clouds and have rainbows peeking from them... just so cute!!!

Chit Chat pieces always make for the perfect title.  And the design just worked to have the title placement on point.   I repeated the cloud clusters, and added a few sparkles to complete the spread.

I hope this gives you a bit of inspiration to document all your love things with the gorgeous Lots of Love collection from Doodlebug.
