Today, we are celebrating 8 years of all things ALTENEW. I am so humbled and thankful to be part of the Altenew family for the past 3 years now.

I was first a fan, then customer, turned to guest designer, to now have my own series in the Altenew YouTube channel. I am definitely one very thankful girl for all the beautiful products Altenew creates each month, and that I get the pleasure of using to document the story of my family's life. Now, let me show you what I have created for today's celebration:

One of most recent favorite products have been the Stamp/Stencil/Embossing Folder/Die set; so, I pulled the MAGNOLIA BALLERINA Full Bundle to create my layout.

I started with a bit of watercolor on the background ( Jet Black Watercolor Refill and 9x12 Watercolor paper pad). The dark background makes all the flower details pop from the page.

I used the MAGNOLIA BALLERINA Bundle to create the flowers for this page. I chose a combination of Gold embossed flowers and also chose to use the embossing folder to create a more dimensional look for my page.

To finish the page, I added a few butterflies (Mix-and-Match Mariposa die set) and a simple title (You Matter Die Set)

I love how this turned out, and how easily I was able to combine Altenew products seamlessly in the page.

Daily Documenting with Lots of Love - Doodlebug Design

I love daily documenting, it is never boring and it shows a glimpse at the different memories that build a family. Well, imagine telling the story with the beautiful Doodlebug Collections. This time, I am using Lots of Love to document our relaxing weekends at home

I started with creating my base layer from the Cloud Nine paper, I just love the rainbow heart raindrops.

Since, I had extra photos from the weekend, I chose to add a pocket page as a way to add them all within the spread.

I pulled pieces of Chit Chat, Odds and Ends, and stickers (even the small cloud Doodlepops) to embellish the pictures and pockets in this spread.

For the other side of the spread, I created cards from Petite Prints that match the collection, and added my photos with small stickers in each pocket.

I created a journal pocket using one of the cards ( Cards and Envelopes set) from Made with Love collection. Once again, I am using Lots of Love for the title, and added some Abigail Alpha Stickers to complete the title.

I trimmed one of the large journal pieces form the Forever Flowers paper to add my lines of journal. I love how it easily fits in the pocket.

I love the movement of the flowers in the cluster of the new BAF: BELLADONNA LILY, so I chose to use it as the only embellishment in this new entry in my daily family journal.

I used tones of fuchsia and soft coral to create the clusters of BAF BELLADONNA LILY for my page. These colors pop from the soft blue color of the background.

I placed the BAF BELLADONNA LILY at the corners of my page so that they create a frame effect for this memory of my daughter's baking goods. I used the sentiments in the stamp set to create the small subtitle label on the left side of the page.

This layout came together easily with the help of the beautiful BUILD-A-FLOWER: BELLADONNA LILY set. You are going to love it, too.
