PINKFRESH STUDIO INK PAD RELEASE BLOG HOP

hi there!
Today, Pinkfresh Studio is celebrating their new Ink Pad release!  These new inks are amazing!!  they are crisp, saturated and most importantly coordinate with their liquid watercolor collection.  Pinkfresh Studio has developed the ink pads so that they formed a color family which is perfect for all your stamping needs.   But let's better see the inks in action so you can see how amazing they are...

For my first project, i used the new inks to create a Christmas card.  I started by embossing the Season's Greetings stamp  with gold onto heavy cardstock.  I used the new Olive, Evergreeen, Candy Apple and Berrilicious  to details the image ( i simply stamped the ink onto a block, diluted  it  with a bit of water and used it as watercolor for this image)

To create my card panel, i chose to use a brush to add color to the background.  Having the color family  -Island Oasis set - made this so easy to fade the colors toward the center of the card.   Here i heat embossed a sentiment from the Season's Greetings card.

To finish, i clear embossed the Sparkle with Magic frame around the color panel,  and then used some foam adhesive to attach the wreath to the card.   I love how easy this came together, but I think it is time to show you how these inks can enhance your next Scrapbook layout.

The new inks pads are so versatile, and i couldn't resist using them to create a layout.  For this page, i wanted to featured lots of the new ink pad colors in one page.

I used the Urban Raincoat  mini cube ink set to add a bit of mixed media to the background so that it brings up all the details of the elements placed on it.

While the background dried, i used the Lovely Blossoms stamp and die set along with the Indian Summer, Heartbeat, Rise and Shine, and Soul of Provence ink sets to create the florals .  All those reach tones of the flowers make the perfect embellishments for the page.

In addition, i pulled the new Kelly Uppercase alphabet to cut the title for this page, and then used foam adhesive to attach it to the .   All the floral images were then added around the title and picture.

The new ink pads are so crisp and vibrant, just look at the detail and color in the flowers in the clusters.  These  groupings of floral images bring so much color to the page that all i needed to do was add a few embellishments around the clusters and create a small journal corner at the bottom of the page.

You want to make sure to check these new ink pads, they are the perfect not just for cards but also scrapbooking layouts.  You are going to love them!
