ALTENEW JULY 2019 DECAL BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY


Hi there!

Let me show you how awesome the new Altenew Decals are...



For my first project, i chose to combine parts of the Watercolor Bliss and Crafts Department decals to decorate my work board.   First i painted the cork white using acrylic paint, then use gold for the frame.  Once it dried, i cut a piece of the Watercolor Bliss florals to add them to the corner of the board.




 To finish this project, i cut the "Crafts Dept." sentence from the  Crafts Department Decal and added it to the top of my board.  SO loving how this turned out, and how a bit of paint and the decals gave my work board a face lift.




While i cut the Crafts Department Decal, i also cut out the flowers that come on the decal - these match the ones in the Botanical Rhapsody washi tape-  I used this to create the cover of my journaling bible.



All i did was used the flower piece of the decal to wrap it around the spine and front of my Bible.   Then used a gold marker to add my initials followed by gold ink splatters.   Just love how a simple decal can  make the cover shine.




I chose to Amour Decal combo to create the two home decor pieces.  For the first one,  i picked  a double glass picture frame, and decided to create  a flower cluster at the diagonal corners of the glass.




I chose to add the sentiment using part of the Watercolor Bliss decal.     The repositional nature of the product helps to create the layered look on the frame.



For this piece, i used an empty fame, and layered images from the Amour Small and Amour Medium
decals.  The die cut word was then added using a bit of glue.  The following video will show  how it l came together:




These were so fun to put together in a small amount of time.   Trust me, these decals are sure to cheer up your space.   Make sure to check them out.
