Today, the long awaited round ink pads from Altenew, are live; and the new color sets are just sublime. The vibrant new ink pads are great and of excellent quality. But, let's talk about the shape of the ink pads.... well, let me show you what I created with the new "round" ink pads...
As soon as the new Trailblazing ink pads arrived, I knew that I wanted the colors and shape of them to be the background of my page.
I used all the new ink pads in this spread. My idea was to create a grid of round colorful circles in the background of the spread. I used a ruler and a pencil to create ghost lines, then stamped the ink pads onto the cardstock.
Once I placed the title in the center of the page. I used the Flower Delight bundle to create the embellishments for the page. Black and white is the perfect complement to the color in the background.
To continue the shape of the stamped ink pads on the background; I trimmed my photos to circles and added them forming a triangle on the page. I framed them each with some of the florals and small word phrase stickers.
I finished the spread with a few enamel dots. Just love how this turned out, and it took no time to put together!!
