There is nothing more relaxing that a beach vacation. The sea, the salty air, the beautiful landscape, the food; but all these are better enjoyed when you are there with your loved ones. The new SEASIDE SUMMER collection is just so colorful, cute, and perfect to document all those memories of your vacation. Let me show you my first project with the collection

I just love the wave design in the Surf's Up paper. So, I fussy cut a few strips to create my "wave" design on the page.

Since the picture showcases my family at the shore, I wanted to find a way to define the water space. The best option, to use white cardstock as the "land" for my page. So, I trimmed the page to 11x11 and attached it to Beach Blvd. paper.

And to construct the sky, I used a stencil and some ink to add a few clouds to the top right corner of the page. The Sun Doodlepop was just perfect for this corner of the page. Just added a few clouds and ready to go!

Next was all about creating my "waves". I glued the fussy cut paper strips to cover the bottom of the page. There are so many cute embellishments, that I wanted to just bring some of them to the page, and added a small sea scene next to the title. To finish, I just added a few splatters of white ink and more colorful sprinkles.
