Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Himalayan Poppy Outline Stamp Set Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($200 in Total Prizes)

Hi there!

Welcome to ALTENEW PAINT-a-FLOWER: HIMALAYAN POPPY OUTLINE STAMP SET RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY.  You are arriving from Dana Joy's blog.   A list of all participants is available at the bottom of this post for your convenience.

Today we are celebrating the new release PAINT-A-FLOWER: HYMALAYAN POPPIES, as well WOODLESS COLORING PENCILS, MONOCHROME SHADING PENCILS, MASKING FLUID, HAWAIIAN SHORES FINE TIP PENS.    There are so many possibilities, so what better than to show you them at work:

For my first card, I used the new PAINT-A-FLOWER: HYMALAYAN POPPIES and the HAWAIIAN SHORES FINE TIP PENS  to add a focal point in the card.

My choice was to dilute the pigment in the Hawaiian Shores Tip pens to color in the flower. Then use the fine tip pens to draw the frame, and add the small details. This came together easily.

The card panel is created with the embossing folder from the kit.   Then, I stamped two of the same flower images from the kit, and used the new color pencils to add shades and color to the images.

I love how this turned out (maybe cause coloring pencils are something,   I have always used for coloring), the new coloring pencils are smooth, and so easy to blend together.
