Hello Everyone!
Welcome to ALTENEW CRAFT YOUR LIFE PROJECT KIT: LUSH GARDEN RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY. You are arriving from Michelle Short's blog. A complete list of all the participants is available at the bottom of this post for your convenience.
I might be bias, but the new CRAFT YOUR LIFE KIT: LUSH GARDEN is probably one of the sets I have ever seen. The possibilities are endless due to the amazing design in the stamp/die/stencils/embossing folder. Let me show you what I created with it!
I love the embossing folder in this kit! It is detailed, and with just the right placement for the floral cluster. All I had to do was run teal cardstock through it in my die cutting machine, then rubbing Antique Gold Pigment ink on it.
Once the ink dried, I trimmed the cardstock to fit in an A2 card, then added a small sentiment and a bit of gel accents to the card panel... Just love how it turned out!
For my next project, and probably one of my favorites of this month. I started by using the stencil to create the bases for the flowers ( I followed the layering guide's colors to achieve the colors of the flowers!).
Next, I used the stamp set to create the layering look of the flower, and then finished my design with the outline stamp in Black Obsidian ink. I chose a soft colored background, and cut the bases for my cards and page, then it was all about arranging the flowers in the layout.
I kept my embellishments simple, the flowers are just perfect for the page. LOVE how this turned out!
I am sure that you are all itching to get your hands in this new CRAFT YOUR LIFE KIT: LUSH GARDEN set. Remember you can always sign up to the Altenew Subscription program to secure your monthly kits ( *** the ones coming up are just as gorgeous as this one!***) Just click here for more information
