Hello there!
Welcome to ALTENEW BUILD-A-FLOWER: CORA LOUISE PEONY RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY. You are arriving from Zsoka's blog! A list of all the participants is available at the bottom of this post for your convenience.
Today, Altenew is celebrating the release of BUILD-A-FLOWER: CORA LOUISE PEONY. This new set is gorgeous, super easy to layer, and perfect for all types of paper crafting!
I just love the flower design, so versatile! So, I decided to create a new memory pocket page layout focusing on the outline shape of the flower.
I used Black Obsidian ink and Masking paper to create the two clusters of flowers in this page. I set them in place so that they frame the picture of my daughter's first day at work. I used a bit of gray ink to add a bit of the shading to the leaves and some of the flowers, this helps to add a bit of dimension to the layout.
I am not a fan of red at all, so instead, I chose inks from the new Martian Terrain ink set to detail one single flower and used it to create my title card. I simply added a few sentiments from the Inspirational Quotes Stamp set to complete the card. All that was left was to add a few extra embellishments, and voila!
Just love how this all came together using the beautiful BUILD-A-FLOWER: CORA LOUISE PEONY. Remember you can always use Altenew's Subscription program to secure your new set each month at a lower price!
It is now time for the best part of the hop, giveaway!!!

ReplyDeleteHi, Nathalie - I used to keep a journal and have gotten out of the habit. I gotta say that when you got back through YOUR journal, I bet you'd be hard pressed to say whether the part you read or the images you look at are more interesting. I love the beautiful treatment you've given the journal pages.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you and yours!
