Hello there!
A new month is here! that means it is time for a new challenge from Pinkfresh Studio. This month we are focusing on Gratitude and a fun color palette. I am already working on my Gratitude journal, so it was so easy to create for the challenge:
Let me start with an entry to on my Gratitude Journal:
Since we celebrated Thanksgiving a few weeks ago here in Canada, I have been working on a daily entry for over 2 weeks now. This page is all about Family, especially my kids and littles.
Once the picture was enlarged to fit to the page of my album, my focus switched to the story, For this, I cover the next page with the Grateful paper. Then created a tag from the My Favorite paper, here I stamped the edge with brown ink and the Blushing Floral Cling Stamp set. I used the dimensions of the tag to create my lines of journal on vellum and attached it to the tag.
I just added a few embellishments and a simple titles complete the page. Love how this turned out, and decided to also create a Scrapbook layout about the same topic.
FOr this page, I used the Ornate Floral Die to cut three panels. Then used the same die to cut a few of the papers from the collection that have the colors in the challenge palette.
I used the negative part of the flowers to create the background of the page. This is possible, by first gluing the die cuts to a piece of vellum, then filling the images with the negative pieces of the die cuts. This created the colorful floral piece.
The large stationery envelope from the collection as a way to frame the picture reel. I used pieces from the chipboard, floral ephemera, stitched embellishments to finish decorating the page.
I used the collection alphas to complete the title work, and a few enamel dots to complete the page. Remember to join in the challenge by linking your finished project to the Pinkfresh Studio challenge blog for a change to win a $50 Gift certificate to the shop!
Good Luck!

Always enjoy your journal pages and inspiration to capture all those moments that may pass by and placed in a picture box. Your pages always give me inspiration to pull the pictures out and work on. That's a To-Do-List. LOL. love the set and use of it here. Thanks for sharing your talent.
