Hi there!
Welcome to ALTENEW's COZY CREATURES STAMPS/DIES/STENCILS COLLECTION RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY. You are arriving from the always inspiring Jennifer McGuire's blog (OMG). You can find a list of all the blog participants at the bottom of this post for your convenience.
Today, Altenew is releasing a new set of stamps, dies stencils and a few other fun items. This new release is beautiful, and so versatile! Let me show you what I have created with them:For my second card, I chose to partially cut the FESTIVE CLUSTER Die set to create the card panel. Then used colorful paper strips on the background and added the partial die cut atop. A few white sequin and a stamped sentiment -Holiday Sentiments stamp set- complete the card.
Now onto a new card idea featuring the new BIRCH FOREST Stamp set.
For this card, I reached to the new mini SMALL INK BLENDING TOOLS to add color onto a piece of heavy cardstock. I let the ink completely set before heat embossing with forest image from the stamp.
The sentiments in the BIRCH FOREST stamp set are amazing. I simply used black ink and created the small sentiment strip for my card.
Now, let's look at a few memory keeping layouts
The new HELLO HYDRANGEA Stamp and Die set is gorgeous! I quickly combined a bit of the Essential watercolor and the stamp to create this entry in my journal album.I stamped, and color one of the blooms and used it to create my title page. Then I chose to use the same colors but in a more abstract way for the picture side of the layout. This time, I watercolored the page to then stamped the florals onto the background. I even added one of the sentiments to the pictures just to complete my page.
This time, I created a pocket spread. I kept the page rather simple, but had to stamp the large takeout coffee onto white cardstock, so it could be detailed with the Artist Markers and use it as the major embellishment on the spread.
Finally, my last project is all about the new SIMPLE ROSES stamp set. The shape of the blooms is perfect for no line coloring.
This time, I used the Artist Watercolor palette to carefully color the flowers and create my cover page. It was so relaxing to just color away all the blooms.
To finish the page, i added a title -created using the Sweet Rose stamps set, and the FRIENDS FOREVER stamp set. I hope these have inspired you to take a closer look at this new release.
