Hi there!
Welcome to the Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Daisy Release Blog Hop + Giveaway! You are arriving from the always inspiring blog from Caly Person ( a list of all the participants is available at the bottom of the page).
Today we are celebrating the release of a new Craft-a-Flower set, "DAISY". This new flower die is amazing, easy to layer, and if you are careful enough when cutting, you can even use the negative part of the cut ( check the participants for some ideas).
Of course i always gravitate to memory keeping, and since i have lots of pictures of our Mother's Day i decided to make a small section on my album all about the day, and this is my cover page for the section.
I chose a warm color palette for the page, and cut all my flowers from color cardstock and then used a piece of vellum to glue and layered them on the page, making sure that they all fit within the album cover.
Once i had all the flowers secured, i used the Nesting Frames Die to cut a piece of kraft cardstock. Here i embossed with Pure White Crisp embossing powder the sentiment from the Simply the Best Stamp set. I tied the label around the page using Antique Gold thread.
The picture was sized to fit into the page of the album, and then i added a simple title with simple alphas. Just love how the page turned out. The colors and texture just bring happy sentiments to this chaotic time.
