Pinkfresh Studio Holiday Magic Collection Release Blog Hop

Hi there!

Welcome to PINKFRESH STUDIO HOLIDAY MAGIC COLLECTION RELEASE BLOG HOP. Today we are celebrating the release of this gorgeous collection with lots of inspiration and prizes. This new collection is bright, colorful, and filled with designs and sentiments that will help you document your Holiday memories in style. The collection is so versatile, and can be used in all sorts of documenting. Let me show you what I have created.

In a way, I am so glad that some of my past December albums are yet to be finished because I was able to work the collection into one of the entries.

I started my double layout creating a mat from the Holly Jolly paper. I wanted to keep the spread very graphic, so the best way was to create a hidden pocket for the journaling.

I capped the hidden tag with one of the ephemera pieces and enamel dots. Then it was all about creating pocket cards to tell my story.

This partial insert helps me to tie the two sides of the spread together. I pulled all the house ephemera from the kit to add it to each pocket, and in turn ties it to the gingerbread house. I used the Perfect Sentiments Holiday Hot Foil Plate and die set, as well as the Stitched Scalloped Circle die set to create the pockets.

I just love how this turned out...

Altenew Build-A-Flower: Honeysuckle Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($200 in total prizes)

The new BUILD-A-FLOWER: HONEYSUCKLE is beautiful, very easy to layer, and with lots of movement in the design. I have used it to create a new entry in my daily journal:

I chose to stay in tones of yellow and orange for my BAF- HONEYSUCKLE flowers as they match the color of the oranges, my daughter is playing with in the photos.

The design of the BAF: HONEYSUCKLE has lots of movement in them which came in handy when constructing my journal page. The flowers naturally formed a corner cluster that framed the title and journal nicely.

I chose to just use one of the large flowers as the anchor and embellishment for the photo side of my layout. The small bud image of the BAF stamp just adds movement to the clusters.

Altenew Build-A-Flower: Laelia Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($200 in total prizes)

The new BUILD-A-FLOWER: LAELIA is gorgeous! Super easy to layer, lots of movement in the design, and always with gorgeous details. I couldn't resist adding them to my "ME" pocket journal

I just love the movement of the BAF:LAELIA, and wanted to se it to create the title page and journaling card for my page. Since, I am using the b-side of the previous layout as the base for the page. I decided to bring some of those warm tones by creating the BAF flower with coral and bright green tones.

I stamped the outlines of my flowers with Obsidian ink, then used coordinating Crips dye inks to create all the leaves, and flowers. I used two of the florals and a few of the filling greenery to create a top cluster for the page. I then used the Mega Brush Alpha Stamp set to stamp the title together on cardstock, this was then fussy cut and glued under the floral images.

I decided to use the same idea as in the title page to create my journaling card. This helped to tie the two sides of the spread together, and have a cohesive page. Just love it!
