Today's new collection release is sure to get you excited about all sorts of paper crafting possibilities. There is so much to choose from, and it is all so beautiful. I think is better that I show you what I created with the products I received...
The new BITTEROOT FLOWER STENCIL and DIE BUNDLE is amazing!! All you need is ink blending tools, ink and you can achieve beautiful flowers for your next project. I used the set to create a new entry on my Gratitude Journal.
I added a few die cuts (Hanging Garden and Mega You dies) to help me with the embellishing of the page. However, the sentiments in the new DOVETAIL BUTTERFLIES STAMP SET were perfect to create the title for the page!
One of my favorite stamps in this release is the new PAINTED RAINBOW stamp set. The possibilities with just one set are infinite. This time, I used it to create the background of this monochromatic layout in my Daily Journal.
I used the new SEA SHORE SLIM WASHI TAPE SET to complement the colors in the background when building by journal and layering cards. Then just added a title using the sentiments in the BLOOMING TULIPS stamp set.
When there are so many choices in one release, then you use as many of them in a single spread. I started the spread by creating the die cuts for it. I used the new ENCHANTING BEAUTY STAMP & DIE BUNDLE and mixed media inks for the die cuts. First, I used them to build my title page .
I used the largest die cut to create a large detail on the right of the page. Then added my title using the DOVETAIL BUTTERFLIES STAMP SET, and also build one of the butterflies to complement this page.
Since, I need to add more photos in this day spread, I chose to add a pocket spread on the back of the main photo. Here I repeated the ENCHANTING BEAUTY Elements in the journal card and sub-title card. To complement the colors, I added a bit of the CHERRY BLOSSOM SLIM WASHI TAPE SET to the card, and then a sentiment using the SIMPLY SPRING STAMP SET.
My last project features the new SWEET GINKO STAMP, STENCIL, and DIE BUNDLE. I fell in love with the leaves in this set, and had to use them in one of my daily entries. I chose to use the stencil to create the shape of the leaves, then stamped the detailed outline on top of the colored shapes.
To complement my pocket page, I created two extra cards using the Ginko leaves. The sentiments in the SIMPLY SPRING STAMP SET were perfect to add the title and sentiment to the picture.
I just love how all these pages came together with goodies from the EXOTIC GARDEN collection... Remember that to celebrate the release, Altenew is holding a series of promotions
