EVERYDAY DOCUMENTING - Doodlebug Design

I am loving how everyday documenting is become a breeze since I started using Doodlebug's My Happy Place to complete my daily pages. The colors and designs are perfect to safekeep all those small moments. Let me show you!

I am using the collection for my Family Journal, and these came together seamlessly in a short amount of time.

I started with a simple pocket page. I added a few embellishments to the picture, and created my small card using the 6x6 paper pad (I fussy cut the smaller label so it fit in the card). For my journaling page, I am bringing some of the same colors using the tag from the Bits and Pieces collection. I just love how easily the embellishments combine.

I started with a Petite Print for the base of the page. Then added a touch of rainbow with strips of patterned paper ( with a punched edge) to the outer edges of the spread. This time, I fussy cut the image from the 3x4 cut apart cards, and added it as a complement to the large sticker ( Sticker sheet). A few sprinkles complete the page!

A grid design is always an easy way to tell a few stories cohesively. This time, I am using patterned paper as the background for my layout, then added a few embellishments to complement my story. The Bits and Pieces pack from this collection is probably one of my favorites, as it has the perfect elements to help you create clusters and add journaling in your pages.

Altenew July 2022 Summer Love Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in Total Prizes!)

Hello there!

Today, we are celebrating the release of the a new set of set of embossing folders, stencils, and the new scoring board. So much to chose from, so let's me show you what I have created with some of these products.

I love the design of the new SUNSHINE BLOSSOMS 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER. It provides the perfect placement for your focal point in a card, and any other paper crafting project.

I started with teal cardstock, then added dark teal ink to the folder before embossing. Once the image was created, I rubbed a little gold ink on the raised images, and added a simple sentiment.

I love the new PLAYFUL CIRCLES 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER. The possibilities are endless! But, I wanted to show case the linearity of the pattern in this card.

I used the folder to emboss the card at different angles, then masked a section of each area to add color through ink blending. A simple sentiment, and voila!

The new CRAFTER'S ESSENTIAL SCORING BOARD is probably a favorite thing for the year. I used it to create the rosettes for this card!

Of course, I am in love with the new GEO TRIANGLES 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER, and COLORING STENCIL BUNDLE. I used them to create the background for my journal entry.

I embossed the cardstock, then add color using the stencil. Once, I fit it to the background, I am using the left over piece to tie the two pages together.

For my last page, I am using the new FANTASY EMBLEM 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER to create the journaling page of this spread.

I used the colors of the picture to color the embossed area. I embossed the top and bottom of the page, so that I can get the journaling in the page.

Altenew July 2022 Marvelous Monthly Series Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in total prizes)

For my first page, I am using the new CRAFT YOUR LIFE PROJECT KIT: ALWAYS SUNSHINE to create this spread.

The delicate and detailed design in the CRAFT YOUR LIFE PROJECT KIT: ALWAYS SUNSHINE is just perfect to frame the page, and bring the focus throughout the spread.

I love the new CRAFT A FLOWER: GARDEN ROSE Layering Die Set. It creates the most delicate blooms, either individually or as part of a branch!

I started my blooms with colored cardstock, then just added a bit of color as to accent certain parts of the rose. Now, all I have to do is my journaling, and ready to go!

The new BUILD A GARDEN: TULIPS AND FRIENDS is so easy to use, as the blooms form so easily with a stamp and stencil.

I chose to form the branch directly to the bottom of the page, so that adds a pop of color for the entire page.

For my last project, my focus was the new PAINT A FLOWER: CHINA ROSE Outline Stamp set.

I am using watercolor paper and Altenew Artist Watercolor palette for to color the flowers. Then fussy cut them. I layered the pieces on top of an Alchohol ink background followed by a fussy cut title from the same stamp set!
