Scrapbook Layout created for Citrus Twist Kits - FAMILY LOVE -
hi there!
I am up on the Citrus Twist Kits blog with this new layout that showcases this month's Stories kit, This is Life "Gathering" stamp, and "Wild Thing" Add on kit.
I think is my love for typography that drew me to the large chipboard words included in the add-on kit. So i formed a simple design that would showcase both the title and picture in the layout.
The colors in the papers in this month's kit were the starting point for this page. A bit of acrylic paint and watercolor create the background for the strips of paper. A bit of gold shimmer paint bring the large word forward; the script word from the This is Life stamp complete the title.
To balance the title, I used a large picture of my son and nephew. This month's exclusive ephemera is perfect to create clusters around the picture; and all those word stickers from Pinkfresh Studio are great to add small sentiments around the page.
