Pinkfresh Studio September 2023 Ink Release

Hi there!

Welcome to PINKFRESH STUDIO SEPTEMBER 2023 INK RELEASE Blog Hop.  Today, we are celebrating the new additions to the existing Pinkfresh Studio Ink family with lots of inspiration and prizes.

I am in love with the cool color palette in this new addition, and decided to use it for today's project:

For  my layout, I pulled the Thanks For Being There Suite to create the flowers for my page, and  Waterfall, Begonia, Sheer Freesia, Spanish Moss, Sage for my flowers.

To keep the cool color palette of the page, I used the Nested Arches Die  to cut patterned papers from Sunshine On My Mind and Lovely Blooms for the background of the page. Then arranged the photos atop of the "pill" shaped papers.

I used all the florals to create two large clusters to the left and right of the photos.  Then added a few extra embellishments from the same collections to bring more sentiments to the page.

To finish my page, I added a few Metallic Gold Pearls around the page.  For my title, I  pulled a foiled sentiment and added at the bottom of the pictures.   Lastly, I used the same color inks and Botanicals and Butterflies Cling Stamp suite to create a  few butterflies scattered throughout the page.

I love how this turned out!   And I hope it inspires you to take a closer look at the new Ink Color additions.

Of course we are celebrating the release with a fabulous giveaway:

HALLOWEEN - Doodlebug Design

Hello there!  We are getting closer to celebrating another Halloween night, and making all those sweet and spooky memories.   Now that my kids are older, I love revisiting memories of Halloween past, and what better way to document them than using the new Sweet & Spooky collection.  Let's take a look.

Nothing says party more than rosettes! That was the starting point for this page.  I just love how the rosettes set the festive feel of the page.

For my page, I pleated `12x 1.5"strips of different papers from the Sweet & Spooky collection. My choice was to create a partial rosette, and then attach it to matching pieces of the same paper as to create arches of paper.

I overlapped the rosette paper arches when I attached them to the background ( I combined white cardstock with a strip of How Sweet It Is paper), then attached the photo to the center of the arches. It was all about embellishing the page from then on!

I started with a cluster of stickers at the top right corner of the page, then pulled a few Bits and Pieces (those little houses are too cute to  pass up!)and used them to elongate the design.

I pulled a few Chit Chat pieces and combined them with stickers to create  the title for the page. I used a few extra puffy stickers and Sprinkles to add small pops of interest and dimension  throughout the page.

I love how this page turned out!  I hope this inspires you to pull your Halloween memories and document them with the new Sweet & Spooky collection.

SPOOKTACULAR CREW - Doodlebug Design

Fall is here!  That means the holidays are coming, lots of memories to be had, and document especially with the new Doodlebug collections.   I am loving the new Sweet & Spooky collection, and though my kids are adults now, I am digging through my memories for some past Halloween pictures for my project with this collection.   Let's take a look at what I have created :

My starting point for this project was the new Home Sweet Home Chipboard Album.   I used the pieces of the album as a template to create my house from patterned papers from the collection.

I simply used a pencil to trace the pieces, then a craft knife to cut all the pieces.   It was fun to piece the house together for my layout.   I added a few extra puffy stickers, and sprinkles to give it a spooky feeling.   The trees in the Bits and Pieces package and sticker sheets  help to create the eerie feel of the home.

For my background, I am using white cardstock, however I am framing the entire page with Moonlight Magic paper.    Once I set the house in place, I then added the moon and clouds from the Bits and Pieces pack, and the  small puffy bat sticker.

I am using a piece of the Trick or Treat paper to anchor the page and photos to the layout.   This paper also helped with adding a few extra embellishments and the title of this layout (gotta love the Chit Chat pack!).  I added a few sprinkles and drops of black shimmer ink to finish the page.

I love how this turned out! and I am sure that you are all ready to start your Halloween documenting.  Be sure to check the new Sweet & Spooky collection... It is Spook-tacular!
