Card Set created for Maya Road
Hi Roadies and friends!!!
Nathalie with you today bringing you a bit of Spring inspiration (Spring will be arriving in the next few days to the Northern Hemisphere, and here in Canada, I think we are more than ready to see something other than snow!!!) in a set of cards that showcase a few of the beautiful Maya Road products.
There are so many celebrations coming up for our family, that i took a few minutes to create this set, really in total this came together in 30 minutes total for both! The key was to create a single background for both cards .
Using the Golden Moments Mini Album kit stamp set, and the Rose Garden Sentiment stamp set different flowers and leaves were stamped and embossed (snow white embossing powder) on Bazzill Marshmallow cardstock. Then a bit of Distress Oxide ink (Fossilized Amber, Tater Rose, Worn Lipstick) were used to blend and color the cardstock.
Once the cardstock was cut to the card size (5x7 in), the Flower Die set was used to cut a circle off center on the cardstock. A few pieces of Earl Grey Jute and Twine cording were then glued so that they can be gathered at the center of the circle created.
One of Ken Oliver Vintage Heart and key Charms was then set in the center of the cut circle where the twine gathers.
Finally, a smaller banner flag, cut using the With Love Nature Die set, was color with Chameleon pens, and then a sentiment from the Golden Mini Album kit stamp set was added with black ink. A few small gold drops (Nuvo) were then added to complete the card. So easy and super fast!!
Now let me show you how easy the next card came together:
For this card the pink edge of the embossed cardstock was used. Once the cardstock was cut (6x4.5) then a piece of Ken Oliver Vintage Trim Scallop Drop was then added on an angle at the bottom of the colored cardstock.
Next using some ombre rose gold ink a sentiment was stamped to the bottom right corner of the cardstock using the Rose Garden Sentiment stamp set. Then one Shimmering Pointed Petal Flower in Mauve was added above the stamped sentiment
To add a few more details to the card a pair of Vintage Pearl Trinket pins were added above the flower. Just a few clear pink drops were then added to complete this card.
Just like I mentioned previously, these cards took 30 minutest to put together. The longest step was embossing and coloring the cardstock, the rest is all embellishing with Maya Road goodies.
Stop by the Maya Road on line store to check most materials used in this post. There are so many beautiful goodies available. As always i am a comment away if you have questions on how this came together.
XOXO
