Welcome to the ALTENEW OCTOBER 2019 DECAL RELEASE BLOG HOP. You are arriving from Sveta's blog ( a list of all the participants is available at the bottom of this post).
Today, i am so excited to be part of the Altenew October release of new Decals. And this time i chose a few of them to create a few more pieces for my work area...
I love the Watercolor Dots decal, as it features all the colors of the rainbow, so i set to create this small plaque.
- First , i prepped the wooden area by applying a coat of white acrylic paint
- While the background dried, i fussy cut the "I CAN" sentiment from the YOU CAN decal.
- Using the squeegee, I transfer the image to the wooden piece and then added the Watercolor dots to complete the project.
I love the colors of the watercolor circles and are the perfect size to bring life to my little wooden plaque.
I used the rest of the YOU CAN decal to create the cover of one of my son's work binders.. All i had to do was wipe the cover of the folder clean with an alcohol pad, and then used the squeegee to help me transfer the words.
It was so easy to personalize the folder, and i love how it came together with just a few steps. Remember to check the rest of the releases .
But no blog hop can be complete without a GIVEAWAY.
