Altenew Build-A-Flower: Bearded Iris Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello there!
Welcome to ALTENEW BUILD-A-FLOWER: BEARDED IRIS RELEASE BLOG HOP+GIVEAWAY.   You are arriving from Dana Joy's blog.  A list of all the participants is available at the bottom of this post for your convenience.

Today's newest release, BUILD-A-FLOWER: BEARDED IRIS is gorgeous, and as always perfect for all types of paper crafting projects.  Let me show you how I used it for a new entry in my daily journal:

I just love the movement of the flower, so I decided to build my border embellishments with a few of the blooms.

I used the new BAF: BEARDED IRIS and inks from Shade of Purple, Martian Terrain, and Nature's Wonders to create the flowers.   To create a nice soft contrasting background for the flowers, I covered the page with Foiled Marble Washi Tape.  Then it was all about creating the vertical clusters at the edges of the page.

I love how easy this entry came together with the new BUILD-A-FLOWER: BEARDED IRIS. Be sure to check it out, and take advantage of Altenew's Subscription program.

Of course we are celebrating the release with a GIVEAWAY.

$200 in total prizes! To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 2 lucky winners and a $20 gift certificate to 5 winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or each designer’s blog post on the blog hop list below by 07/07/2021 for a chance to win. Altenew will draw 7 random winners from the comments left on each stop of this blog hop and announce the winners on the Altenew Winners Page on 07/09/2021.

Good Luck everyone!

  18. One of my fave parts of any hoop is coming to your spot and seeing one of your traveler notebook pages. This iris is made for it! The gorgeous colors, the cascade down the page, and the use of the marbled washi just make for such a lovely background for your photo and journaled story. Love it!
