Hello there!
It is time for a new challenge from Pinkfresh Studio. This month we are celebrating all things "Gold", and a colorful palette from the new washi tapes.
I wanted to use all the gold foiled washi tapes in one page, and what better choice than to fill a heart with it.
I started by cutting a heart at the edge of blush cardstock. Then stitched the edge with gold embroidery floss. The heart was then backed with a paper from Keeping It Real collection.
I decided to fill the right of the heart with flowers from the Joyful Bouquet, Painted Anemone, English Garden, Magic Anemone . Once, I filled the space, I added my picture ( first, I backed it with a piece of paper from Keeping it Real), and added a few extra flowers.
I added a few more embellishments, keeping very simple so that the flowers pop in the layout. I did add a few drops of gold ink and gems around the clusters. I made up my title using puffy alphas from Keeping It Real and a gold die cut ( using the Sending Die set).
To finish the page, I stamped a sentiment from the Indigo Vines stamp set, and added a few journal lines. Love how it turned out!
Remember to stop by Pinkfresh Studio to check the challenge and join in the fun to have a chance to win a $50 Gift Certificate to the shop!
Happy Easter everyone!
Thanks for sharing your beautiful design ideas!!! Love your style
