Hi there!
It is time for this month's Challenge at Pinkfresh Studio. FALL is the theme for all the projects, in addition, there is a nice Fall color palette that matches the beautiful tones in the Days of Splendor collection. Let me show what I have created with this inspiration:
I used the new Essential Shaker Tags die set to cut a few banners from the 6x6 paper pad. My idea was to create the tail end of a garland on my page.
I started by adding a bit of Lavender ink to the background cardstock, just under the area where the picture will sit. Once the ink set I threaded a piece of string through the banners and set them in place with glue and foam adhesive on the background.
I used papers and from the collection and also some of the stitched frames to back the picture and make it pop from the page. I added a few clusters of ephemera around the banners and picture keeping the colors within the palette.
Lastly, I used the new Lea Ornate Cap and Lower case die set as well as the Heather Cap and lower case die set to cut the title for this page. I first, added a bit of ink to the cardstock just to bring more of the purple tones of the palette to the page.
A few enamel dots and gold ink splatters complete the page. Remember to join in the challenge by creating a project to fit the challenge. Upload it to the Challenge monthly page to have a chance to win gift certificates to the shop.
XO
