CREATING CHRISTMAS MAGIC - Pinkfresh Studio Monthly Challenge.

Hi there!

It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and i love it!!!  So today's Pinkfresh Studio Challenge is perfect to kick off the most joyous month of the year.

I wanted to work a layout that will showcase the progress of a Christmas tree creation, so i decided to start with the new Holiday House cut file (available at the Pinkfresh Studio shop).

I cut the house three times from white cardstock, stacked and glued the die cuts together, then backed it with vellum.    To frame the page nicely, i chose to cut two strips of paper from the Home for  the Holidays collection and then detail the edge with one of the simple edge dies.  These were then glued to the sides of the layout.  Don't you just love the small car parked outside the house!!!

I backed and layered both pictures with papers from the Home for the Holidays collection from Pinkfresh Studio ( and a paper from the Just A Little Lovely collection, too).   These were attached to the right of the house as to continue the scene.

To embellish the page, first, i used the CHristmas Greeting Stamp set and gold ink to stamp a series of star dust around the page -think of it as fairy dust-. The rest of the  embellishments come mostly from the Home for the Holidays collection, but also from previous Pinkfresh Studio collections.

The last step was to add a title to the page, for this i combined alphas from the Office Hours and Home for the Holidays collection then added my lines of journal at the bottom of the title.

I love how this layout turned out, and all the lovely little details that you can easily add with stamps,  dies, cut files and embellishments from Pinkfresh Studio.   The new Home for the Holidays collection is just perfect to document all the Christmas  memories.

Remember you can win gift certificates to the PFS shop when you share your challenge creations in the Pinkfresh Studio blog.   There are so many prizes up for grabs.

As always, please contact me if you have questions on how this came together.
Happy December!
