BIG STEPS, LITTLE STEPS - Scrapbook Nerd

Hi there!

This week the DT at Scrapbook Nerd has been asked to work projects with focus on masculine/boy themes.   So, i pulled a picture of my son and nephew and the Pinkfresh Studio Out and About collection to document it.

Firstly, i used a cut file from Handipaper to bring the eye to the focus of the page.  This cut file was cut twice from white cardstock, and then backed with papers from the collection. 

For the base of the page, i used the Travel Icons paper and then added a strip of the Scenic Route paper in the center of the page so that it would ground the layout.   The cut outs were then added to the page so that they face the center, pointing towards the picture.

The picture was backed with one of the 6x6 papers, and a stitched frame.  Two large clusters of ephemera were then added to the corners of the picture.

The title was then created using a mix of alphas from both the Indigo HIlls 2 collection and The Mix 2 collection -both from Pinkfresh Studio-  .   A few lines of journal complete this page
