Hi there!
Welcome to ALTENEW CRAFT YOUR LIFE PROJECT KIT: GARDEN ROSE RELEASE BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY. You are arriving from Laura Jane's blog. A list of all the participants is available at the bottom of this post for your convenience.
This month's CRAFT YOUR LIFE PROJECT KIT: GARDEN ROSE is amazing, and a must have! The versatility of this kit can take you from card making to all types of crafting. Let me show you what I have created:
The embossing folder in the new Craft Your Life Project Kit: Garden Rose is so beautiful, it can easily be a background and focal point all at once. I used a bit of black ink and a brayer to add color to the folder before running some cream cardstock with it through the machine.
Once the impression was created, I rubbed a bit of Antique Gold ink around the embossed area, and then used my heat gun to set the ink in place. A simple sentiment is all that was needed to complete teh card.
The Craft Your Life Project Kit Garden Rose is perfect for memory keeping. I created this layout using the coordinating stamp, die, and stencils/mask. I wanted to bring lots of flowers to the page, but also make the picture pop. My choice, was to use the mask to stamp the entire right side of the notebook with flowers and leaves from the stamp set.
I used a rainbow of inks to add color to a few extra flowers and used the die set to cut them apart. These became the embellishment around the photo and on the journal side of the page.
To finish the page, I used the stencil and Jet Black ink to create the "Hello Friend" impression as the title for my page. Just loved working with the new Craft Your Life Project Kit: Garden Rose!
