DECEMBER 6x8 ALBUM - CANDY CANE LANE - Doodlebug Design

I am sure that all of you have lots of memories of Christmas ( past and present) to document!  Today, I want to give a bit of inspiration featuring the sweet Candy Cane Lane in my December 6x8 album.

There is so much cuteness in this collection that it was so easy to mix and match pieces in the spreads, and put them together in no time!

My first spread is all about my nephew enjoying Gingerbread  decorating time while experiencing Covid.   I stared by bringing a bit of red accents to the page to complement the colors in the picture.

I love the cut apart journal cards, especially when I have lots of story writing to add.   I followed the design on the other page by repeating the colors and look  of the page.

For my next page, I am mixing patterned paper with all the embellishments of the collection to document all the yummy treats of the season!

This time, I am creating a smaller title page from patterned paper, then adding a bit of interest with the embellishments of the collection.    That cute little driving Santa was perfect!

For this part of the spread, I simply framed the photos with patterned paper making sure that there was plenty leftover to add my journaling after.  A few extra small pieces complete the spread!

Pinkfresh Studio December 2022 Stamp, Die, Stencil, and Hot Foil Release

 

Hi there!

Welcome to PINKFRESH STUDIO DECEMBER 2022 STAMP, DIE, STENCIL, AND HOT FOIL RELEASE.   Today, we are celebrating all the new and gorgeous goodies with lots of inspiration and prizes.

So many new gorgeous stamps, dies, stencils and hot foil plates that are so perfect for all sorts of crafting.   Let me show you what I have created with some of the products:

I just love the new FLORAL BORDER HOT FOIL PLATE and its coordinating elements.  This was the base for my spread.

I used Aura Foil to create about five floral borders.  Then, I used the FLORAL BORDER STENCIL and a selection of Premium inks to color all the flowers.   I used the FLORAL BORDER DIE to cut out the borders.  

I used the new DETAILED LEAF STAMP to add a bit of interest to the background.  Then cut a few of the Floral Frames die cuts into smaller pieces and started to build a larger frame of flowers around the spread.   To finish, I framed the page with a patterned paper from the Delightful collection.

I added a few more embellishments around the spread, then it was all about the title.

The new LOVE YOU THE MOST HOT FOIL PLATE was just perfect to create the title for this page. A few enamel dots and one Small Butterfly complete the spread.

HAPPY HARVEST - Doodlebug Design

 It is almost time to shift to the jolliest time of the year, but let's take a chance at one last project with the beautiful Farmer's Market  collection.

I started my page by creating the grid background for the page.  I cut a few of the patterned papers into 2.5" squares, and then attached them to the center of a Pettite Print paper.

I added a bit  of dimension to each of the squares and also hand drew a stitching line with white ink gel so that it brings more of quilted look to the grid. 

 

The pictures were backed with papers from the  6x6 paper pad, then placed in the center of the page.   I used a selection of embellishments to each side of the pictures to complement the story.

Just love all the beautiful pieces in this collection.  The little chicks are just so darling, and hard to pass up!

I am in love with the Farmer's Market  Chit Chat pieces, they were the perfect way to construct my title and add a few extra sentiments to the page.
